Well, after a whopping HOUR long match, Trips beat me with a Pedigree. I was undefeated with Old Taker too. I just can't seem to get the title. -
The One and Only Smackdown! HCTP Thread

I NEED HELP!!! (minor story spoilers) I'm playing as Old Skool Taker in Season. I started the ministry with Kane, Booker, and Trish (pretty bad members, but eh). I'm feuding with the corporation (HHH, Jericho, Jazz, Storm and Vince). Well, the feud is at it's climax at No Mercy. It's a last man standing match for the title and it's on Smackdown difficulty. We're both busted open, and we've hit finishers on each other about 25 times. I started the match at 8:30, and it's a little past 9:15 now. He hasn't kept me down past a 4 count (it's cool when Taker sits up~), and I've gotten him to a 7 count. I've down literrally EVERYTHING I could do to him. Chairs, tables, Sledge, everything. Any pointers on how I can beat him? -
The scientific theory is that the brain causes "the light" that people often say is heaven. I'm not sure if I believe in heaven. I'd like to, but based on the current evidence, I'm leaning toward there not being one.

I thought it was because Freddy gets his power from his victim's fear or something. Depp's character says something along the lines of "turn your back on the monster, and he'll go away" in the film. I figured Krueger killed all her friends, her mom, ect., that she just wasn't afraid of what he could do to her anymore. You know, sort of like Frankenstein. The last minute was just a setup for a sequal.
-
^ If you go by that logic (which I would agree with), then Busta should have beaten Rampage. He was the lighter man, and all Rampage did was try to avoid submissions.
-
Freddy vs Jason vs Michael might be a little too much. Michael just doesn't seem like he'd have much of a chance against the other two.

Indeed. Bas is god.

Freddy and Ash insulting each other = Ratings.

Just re-watched Tamura/Yoshida, and I just can't buy it. Yoshida gets up and walks to his corner after the victory, then starts limping a little, then it gets so bad he lies down and starts moaning in pain. If it was real, and Yoshida does advance, they won't put him with Chuck. They'll give Chuck the hardest road possible. I really think Cro-Cop's next fight should be for the title, only for marketing purposes. Just think if Cro-Cop had one more fight before his title shot, and he lost. People would lose interest in him after that. EDIT: BTW, Bob Sapp on LENO~ tomorrow night!
-
I'd be with you on that normally, especially since he lost by judge's decision, but Nog didn't look to great in the ring tonight. I think the bigger match for the heavyweight division is Fedor/Cro-Cop.
-
I still don't buy Yoshida's injury. I think they're trying to make him the next Sak, and they know none of the other guys advancing would job to him, and he has no chance of beating any of them on his own. However, I CAN buy Igor's injury. Cro-Cop's limbs are lethal weapons. If Fedor lets Cro-Cop get the same amount of opportunities to strike as he let Fujita, he can kiss the belt away.

After this Rico/Nog incident, Liddell HAS to KO his way to victory. He won't get a decision even if his opponent was wearing a crimson mask.
-
Bye. Liddel wouldn't get it, then he'd have to beat Silva AND Rampage in the same night. PRIDE is corrupt~!
-
I just re-watched Tamura/Yoshida, and it does look a bit suspicious. Tamura knocks Yoshida down, then jumps on top of him and starts punching his chest! And Tamura seems to turn his head into the choke at the end. If Yoshida withdraws, I wouldn't be surprised if this whole things turns out to be a work. He basically has no shot at beating Silva/Rampage/Liddell anyways. EDIT: And does anyone know when the PRIDE: Bad Blood DVD is coming out? I've been waiting forever.
-
People over at sherdog are saying that Yoshida's knee injury looked suspect. We couldn't really see the knee, so who knows. Either way, he'll either pull out of the tourny or he'll get murdered in the next round.
-
I was just checking PRIDE rules, and they state that if a fight goes to a decision, the winner is determined by who made the most attempts to end the fight. If those ARE the rules, that the Nog victory would make a little more sense. However, I thought Busta made more attempts to finish the fight then Rampage, although Rampage had control. Either way, someone got screwed.
-
Yeah. I was a little shocked when he called Overeem "Good looking" though. So what do the semi's look like? I'm guessing Liddell vs Rampage and Silva vs Yoshida, just because it will give Chuck a harder style to fight, and Yoshida could be "avenging" Sak's loss.
