I just noticed that my local WB affiliate is starting Angel reruns this evening. I also saw that they are showing Buffy right after it, so they must now be the new affiliate for that in my area, as well. What sucks is that it looks like Buffy will no longer be on late night during the weekends though. Major weaksauce!

I hate the X-Filesy Queller demon in that ep.

Joss also said Buffy Season Seven was going to be lighthearted and whatnot, yet it wasn't, so it will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Speaking of Roseanne, Joss also wrote for that show.

While certainly not having the build up that Spike's had (no way they could have whatever the case), I still really liked Doyle's. The music, Cordy showing a good deal of emotion for once (up to that point in time), and then the final part with them watching the tape was just awesome in my book.

It's correct. I have the Region 2 set. For whatever reason, there is no commentary for that ep. Sucks. I thought the SiTs were far more annoying than any other character ever in the Buffyverse. They are one of the reasons why Season Seven is one of, if not the single least favorite season of mine.

Yeah, true. I saw the trailer for the season premiere the other day. They showed footage of Spike (from the episode) in it. Got me hyped up.

"Champion" was used in "Chosen." The amulet Angel got from W&H was for one. And as we know, Buffy gave it to Spike.

Right on, Sakura. I don't really have that much hype for Chaos, which is a shame considering what it could and should have been (same goes for the Capcom vs. SNK titles). A good of that has to do with the roster. Balrog, Dhalsim, Akuma, get them the hell out of there once and for all. I don't see people all "OMG, did Akuma make the roster!?" Choi is one of the worst characters ever. Someone over in the SNK (and now SNKP) house must just love him. Mars People? What is that crap!? If anybody from Slug should be in (and I don't think they should since this isn't exactly a zany fighter in the vein of the MvC games), it should be either Marco or Fio.

Yeah, what Fazzle said. That was mentioned when Marsters signed on for the show.

I hope Joss resolves the Cordy arc in good fashion.

Yeah, it's on hold right now, much like Buffy Animated. They were first planning a whole series, and then just a couple eps for the BBC, and then it got pushed to the backburner.

DULLARD~! I got the Genesis one, as well. I remember going to TRU and picking it up at the game center desk and the guy putting over how much it looked like the arcade version. Heh. GTA III has nothing on MK and Night Trap.

Yep, missed out on all the fun! As for what season FX is on, it's a bit wonky as usual. Their main schedule cycle is on Season Four, though they have been showing Season Six eps here and there.

I agree. If I hadn't known he was returning, it would have been a lot more meaningful for me. I'm still not sold on him returning anyway; I've made sure to avoid the spoilers so hopefullly it's good stuff. I like Troll Logic and Shirty Inc. (though as LaParka said, would be better suited for a company that does shirts and the like). "Don't walk away from me, bitch" is a classic line.

I loved the Xander/Anya ship. I already said it a few times before in this thread back in May, but I hated how she went out. That irked me that Joss admitted he wanted to kill her in that manner. I know, life's not fair and crap, but damn man, I just wanted one final Xander/Anya scene (and for Anya not to have been sliced in half; a stab or two would have been fine). At least Xander wasn't hooked up with someone like Kennedy...

That was incredible (not like that other stuff wasn't, since all of that was pure awesomeness). Joss actually did the rewrite for that scene.

Off the current topic, but I just beat the Buffy game. Yay for that. And on another topic, weaksauce that they removed the "Previously On..." bits from the Angel Season Two set. They were in the Region 2 one, so why make the effort to remove them? Just ugh. Really bugs me that they aren't included in the Buffy ones either.

Here is something to think about - why are jobber vamps almost always vamped out? Yeah, it's probably the accepted look when out with your vamp posse, or maybe it's a vamp pride thing, but if I were fighting for the forces of evil, I don't think I would want to be sporting the look all the time.

Yeah, it's widescreen despite it not airing in that format and what it says on the box. Joss just recently commented on this. He stated, like he did back when the Season Four set came out, that no Buffy DVD (in the US, at least) will ever be in widescreen since only one episode (OMWF) has been filmed that way. For this Angel set though, he said that since the show is now in widescreen, he decided to go that route for the DVD. I wish they would have just stuck with what it aired in.

"Two To Go+Grave" owns massive amounts. Simply fantastic stuff to end a season which I liked a great deal. Got my Angel DVD set today.

I absolutely love "The Gift"; I think it's just incredible all around.
