My God, would you look at the A-Train love. Bare our children, Albert! UYI

You did your little *shudder* thing after you mentioned that you bought Armageddon. Why did you waste your money on a show that you obviously had little desire in viewing? UYI
-
Think about that for a second. Done? Okay. UYI Well, you need something to try to draw some outside people in. It makes sense to have them go against AMW. Like them or not, AMW is marketed as their top tag team. Having them go against (and go over!) an outside tag team like that will work. I'm not talking about putting Hall and Nash in the main event. That would be a mistake. It would also be a mistake to throw them in there agains Jarrett and Sting. But putting them in there against an established tag team makes sense. Don't get me wrong, I've got no beef with AMW (in fact I'm a big fan of their work), but I just could not see: A) AMW working with The Outsiders B) Either Nash or Hall willing to job to two generally unknown wrestlers C) The match being anything short of a disaster, thanks in *no part* to AMW UYI

Anyone realise that Ray rhymes with gay? And Illusion rhymes with confusion? Wowzers. UYI -
A battle royal to determine a number #1 contender is not a "WWE plot"....every promotion in the business has used it, including TNA this past summer when Raven won a shot against Styles and when Gilberti won a match with Jarrett. Whether every B-grade promotion uses it or not, it is still a WWE Plot. Vince's company is famous for its Royal Rumble matches and the company places a great deal of advertising, importance and storyline significance on that particular concept, so when people see a 'battle royal to determine the no.1 contender', the first thing they think of is World Wrestling Entertainment. UYI I actually meant the stupid "Wrestler X has to enter #1 and survive everyone to win against all odds", which is the EXACT Thing Chris Benoit just did on WWE...THREE WEEKS AGO! If TNA wants to steal ideas, steal something WWE won't remember....like 6 months ago. Well, that's even worse and further proves your point. This whole ordeal is going to blow up in their faces, I fail to see any glimmer of hope in a line-up rumoured to involve Randy Savage, Scott Hall and KEVIN NASH. UYI

My top 3 favourite performers live: 1. Marilyn Manson (check out the 'Holy Wood' DVD for an insight to his brilliance) 2. Michael Jackson 3. Metallica (Cunning Stunts DVD says it all) UYI

Lucky for us, Choken puts out. Alot. UYI

Oh bullshit. Chris Benoit has all the personality of a room full of Linda McMahons, maybe that's why the casual fan is bored shitless by him. It has nothing to do with Triple H. Booking Benoit as, as someone up there put it, a violent wrestling machine that does zero talk and just rips people to shreds is the only way they have any hope in hell of drawing a decent buyrate for WMXX (considering they are actually going to run with Benoit in the main event). But for God's sake, leave the guy off the mic. UYI

Um, no he can't. However, Hogan's name value far surpasses Savage, and in this case that is all that matters. Also, Savage has never really been a draw, the people he has feuded with and been in the ring with were the big draws (i.e. Hogan, Flair etc.), not him. If this does actually go down, it will be atrocious. UYI

This one is worth your while. Some of the highlights: A *great* series of opening matches involving Booker, Rick Martel (who gets injured in this match and is forced to retire forever) and Perry Saturn. Awesome 'Belt vs Mask' encounter between Juvi Juice and Chris Jericho, made even better by the fact that Jericho had just turned heel and was seriously bringing the hilarity to every single match. Lex Luger tries to wrestle. Chris Benoit vs Diamond Dallas Page. You'll thank me for recommending it later. The big Scott Steiner turn takes place here as well, note how little work Nash does in the tag match, then remind yourself he was probably pocketing well over a million dollars a year there. The main event is fairly inoffensive, however Hogan gets a tad too much offence in and the finish is bogus. Great, old school WCW show. Check it out. UYI

Heenan!? Last time I heard, the guy could hardly talk due to his battle with throat cancer, yet alone call a wrestling match with his usual enthusiatic manner. UYI -
Yes, *everyone*, because us Smarks are all exactly alike and all share identical opinions on everything wrestling related. For the record, I'm such a hardcore Taker mark that I legitimately loved the 'rising' angle they did in 1994, as well as the awesome supernatural powers of Kane. UYI
-
Probably because *every* time Kane has crossed the Undertaker, it has resulted in Kane getting his ass handed to him military style. I doubt the outcome of this feud will be any different either. UYI
-
To me, it was one of the best years that Taker has ever had. He's really improved over the past few years. I just hope that when he comes back, they allow him to still work as he has been over the past few years, while still bringing out all of the oldschool Taker moves/taunts/etc... that makes him The Undertaker. To be honest, I cannot think of another time in Taker's career were he looked in better shape than he did last year. He really bulked up and looked to be in peak condition. Not bad for a 40+ Undertaker. UYI

There's your quote of the thread right there.
-
One man's Giant Gonzalez is another man's Kurt Angle. UYI
-
It doesn't hit classic until Taker wheels out a casket with Kane inside....while the real Kane is standing in the ring, ala Diesel circa 1996. That was the shit. UYI

Oh TAG

I think it's brilliant.
