Good luck trying to take Vince down. I single handed crafted the most technically sound and charismatic roster one could possibly assemble through developmental territories and stealing big named wrestlers, such as Chris Jericho and The Rock, and after THREE FUCKING YEARS of big highs and heavy slumps, Vince still won't die. He has nothing, a shitty, washed up roster, yet still he has managed to avoid the humiliation of a once Cult level federation buying his sorry ass out. Bastard. UYI

Anyone have any ideas as to how that segment rated? (Flair's September '98 return) Sounds like brilliant television. UYI

Obviously, too much. I'm cool with botched entrance themes, however if they DO NOT put in Ric Flair's entrance music then it's war. That's all I ask for THQ, Ric Flair's music. That's it. UYI -

Went through where exactly, bps? Also, IMO 'Coma' is the grandest epic Axl has ever created and one of the best songs I've ever heard lyrically. The raw rush of 'Right Next Door To Hell' is under-rated too, if you ask me. UYI

Despite what fans or viewers thought of the show, specifically Chono/Hogan, Mr.Inoki hated it. UYI -

I was waiting for someone to mention that. Everything in that photo works just fine...except for Test. However, the thought of suplexing the shit out of Test in an Elimination Chamber with Kurt Angle seems all too appealing. UYI -
It lists the Rumble match as just 'Ric Flair's 1992 Rumble victory', which could mean it might just be highlights. However, the entire match revolves around and was carried by Ric Flair, and won't make any sense if it is clipped down, so here's hoping the whole thing makes it in. Phenominal line-up of matches. The 'I Quit' match with Funker is my personal fave. UYI

What price are they charging for the game over in the States? Here in Australia, PS2 games usually go brand new for about $100 or so, which is around $50 US. However, all Aussie stores allowing you to pre-order quote the game at $75, which is a fucking bargain considering what you get and what games are usually priced as. The same deal occurring over in Bush-Land? -

Anyone know where to get .jpg files of wrestlers such as Hulk Hogan? I'm looking for a recent one, where he doesn't have the 'Hollwood' black beard. Thanks in advance UYI

Absolutely, there is no question that if Axl had just combined the best work from both albums he could of made one of the greatest rock records of all time. However, I'd glad Axl allowed his fans to decide what was star material and what wasn't by leaving the 'filler', if you'd call it that, present on both albums. I'm guessing he will be doing the same with Chinese Democracy, when it is ultimately released.

Instead of having someone give out explanations for each Japanese wrestler your interested in, just head over to this site and click on the specific wrestler you're interested in for all the up-to-date information on them. Also offers the rosters of NJPW & AJPW

Keiji Mutoh is head of All Japan, Choke. Also, Hiroyoshi Tenzan and Yoshihiro Takayama are mainstays in New Japan. EDIT: bps is one step ahead of me in terms of pics.

Very descriptive, Redneck. Kind of drifting away from the initial arguemnt thought - Flair vs. Hitman Props go to RVDMARK for being so easily defeated. I love that kid. UYI

Thanks Tiger. Reports from Stuart say the crowd was about 47,000, the lowest attendance for any NJPQ Dome show. UYI -
The original just seems to flow better overall to me and generally has an improved sound. Personally, the first UYI album is much stronger than the second, despite both being brilliant records. UYI

Yes. After reading through the TNA angle at the press conference I think I see how they are going to deal with that: "Masahiro Chono, Hogan's opponent at the Dome, revived a bloodied Hogan. Chono stated that he would help Hogan in his feud with Jarrett, although that may have been said specifically for the Japanese media and was not planned as part of the NWA TNA angle. New Japan announced there would be a "meeting" to resolve the matter of the Hulk Hogan/Masahiro Chono matchmaker situation coming out of their Dome show match. " -1wrestling I think they're going to say that Hogan has to go to the US to take care of his problem with Jarrett and he'll just leave Chono in charge until they can pick the angle back up later. If anything is good for TNA business, it is THAT. Talk about heavy anticipation. UYI -

RickyChosyu, are you aware of exactly how many the Tokyo Dome can hold? I would imagine it would be a staggering number, however I don't know the exact amount. UYI -

The big dream match: The semi final was the big dream match, and was considered by many to be a show-saver. Two of the most charismatic and popular wrestlers in history, Masahiro Chono and "Superman" Hulk Hogan, met for the first time ever. After sitting quietly for much of the show, the Tokyo Dome boiled when the two entered, and were very excited. Hogan worked hard, and attacked Chono's injured knee for a while. It was an even match, with both men pulling out everything. Hogan survived Chono's STF (there were "Hogan! Hogan! Hogan!" chants while he was in it), but Chono survived Hogan's guillotine drop (legdrop). The most exciting moment of the match saw a flashback to twenty years ago, when Hogan sent Chono (now in the place of his mentor, Inoki) flying off the apron with an Axe Bomber. Chono didn't fall into unconsciousness like Inoki did, and fought on. After his patented "Hulk Up", Hogan sunk Chono with an Axe Bomber. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive for the match, and everyone seemed to love it. Reports ranged from "It gave me goosebumps!" to "It exceeded Hogan vs. Rock!". Nothing has been said about the unofficial stipulation of Hogan getting matchmaking power, so we'll have to wait and see. -

Twenty fucking minutes? Shite. Didn't Chono say he'd hand over control of NJPW to Hogan if he lost the match!? -
Flair cant even carry him-self. A broken down Flair is still better than 9/10ths of the RAW roster anyway. Besides, Flair still fucking owns, ***** matches or not. UYI
