I really like the way Dan has put things into perspective up there. Originally, I had thought that Vince may not have had enough faith in Cena's ability to be a champion to hot-shot the title to Cena at Wrestlemania. However, JBL working with the Rock in this situation can really do the SD! main event scene some good. Then they can ship over some fresh contender/s from RAW to kick start Cena's defensive run.

Most cross-brand matches (in fact, all except Taker vs Kane, as far as I can remember) were only built a couple of months prior to Wrestlemania. We haven't had the Rumble yet, so I think it is a little too early to sit back and say nothing makes sense or you can't see anything happening yet when neither brand has had the opportunity to be on the same show yet. Jericho & Benoit are pretty much left out in the cold with the wolves right now, so I expect them to probably lock up with some Smackdown talent.

Much like Nash did with Wrath, only to a lesser extent as Wrath had yet to fully take flight. However, he was catching on huge and who knows what might of became of him had Nash not slaughtered him on Nitro leading up to taking down Goldberg at Starrcade. What a company man he was.

That's probably why he's gone un-injured for so long throughout his tenure in WWE, or at least a contributing factor. I won't even notice he's gone.

I was going to start a new thread about this, but figured it could easily just be quickly answered here, since it is of relation to WWF. This is in regards to the contractual agreement made between Bret Hart & Vince McMahon prior to the Hitman being screwed at Montreal and leaving the company. Now while I possess very limited knowledge on the topic of contractual agreements and the specifics that were involved in the 20 year deal put forward by Vince, I know that if Vince had broken that contract, like he said he 'had to', then he would of had to of paid Bret everything he owed him, correct? Was there another clause in the contract that left a certain window of time open for re-negotiation of the contract's length etc.?

'This past week in Georgia, former WWF and WCW star Jake Roberts was arrested for possession of cocaine. The arrest took place after a search of his hotel room turned up a crack pipe and residue. Georgia newspaper, Main Street News, reported that a women who claimed to be Roberts girlfriend was stopped by authorities and allegedly had drugs in her possession. At that point the woman directed police to Roberts' hotel room. Roberts, who is now living in Pompano Beach, Florida, has a history of drug problems.' Jake is the Keith Richards of wrestling. The man could survive a nuclear holocaust.

Speaking of hair, HBK's attempts at covering his ever-growing bald spot are becoming almost futile. He really can't do much though, he'd look so awful with the Austin look. However, the Hogan look doesn't seem all that appealing either. And it's time people started moving on from their hopes of HBK vs Angle. It isn't happening this year.

It's almost painfully obvious that one is going to cost the other their shot at the title by eliminating them in the Rumble, just like HBK/Jericho did a few years back. Edge is in a dead patch now, after a really hot heel run. He *needs* this win and then must progress onto the title afterwards. I've no clue who they're going to stick in there with Hunter now, as Orton is seemingly getting his shot at the Rumble, but whomever it is (likely Batista) should face Edge the following month, after winning the title.
