Sounds......interesting.

Rumble Roses comes out very soon, does it not? It sounds pretty interesting from what I've heard, which is very little at the moment.

The One and Only WWE Firing Thread.

I'm predicting the Bashams next, as they fell out of favour with McMahon quite a while ago and have been doing absolutely nothing. Vince obviously doesn't give a shit about them. -
Who the hell plays as Spike Dudley?

EDIT
-
Wouldn't it be something if 'Shane McMahon has been released, we wish him well in his future endeavours' is the next headline to pop up at WWE.com.
-
Jesus Christ, why Rico!? He and Haas were an awesome tag team that had a real chemistry. Their matches with the Dudleys just a few weeks back were really excited, well-structured matches. He was also just getting over for the first time in his career. How disappointing.

I'm stuck on the flying school now, and have not been game enough to even attempt the driving one. It seems the flying school is pivotal to the storyline though, so I need to keep trying over and over. Bastard plane is a BITCH to control.

You're an Aussie, SS? I had no clue. I did obtain mine from EB, however I didn't bother with the strategy guide, as I figure any help I need can be found here or on GameFAQs etc. I recieved ten bucks off a pair of memory cards instead and bought a new controller (as my last one was barely working thanks to the many meetings it has had with the wall in my room. I have a bad temper).

WWE Release Gail Kim, Nidia, and Chuck Palumbo
Use Your Illusion replied to spman's topic in The WWE Folder
I never understood why WWE didn't push the hell out of Maven. Not that he is this amazing super-athelete or anything, but he is THEIR creation. He is 100% Vince-McMahon-made. When he won the first tough enough, I figured he'd be given a push much like the one Randy recieved this year. UYI -
People are beating this thing already!? I'm only just reaching the third major city now.
-
I've also gone the blonde cornrows in my cyptic attempt to give a nod to the future look of Axl Rose.

Better workrate = Better ratings Bullshit. The workrate was through the roof at the beginning of the year and it meant nothing. -
I indeed intend to do that.

No, DH, don't sit there and use 'your mind is made up, so I can't talk to you' as an excuse. I'm not sitting here saying you are wrong and I am right. I've straight out given you, the enthused SVR player, to give me evidence that SVR is a worthwhile improvement over HCTP and warrants the money Yukes is asking for it. I really wanted to like this game, I've been a very big fan of the SD! series for quite a few years now. However, this game offers little or nothing over last year's title, and no one has yet to prove otherwise. If you're content paying your hard earned (or sold) cash for HCTP V.1.2, then good for you. I, however, am not and demand a little more for my money.
-
The heel/face thing is a neat idea, however doesn't carry the title alone. The animations may be smoother, as you say, but are they not all exactly the same as they were in HCTP? The exact same figure-four reversal animation for reversing leg moves etc.? Don't get me wrong, the adding of little mini-games is a great, fun idea. Although that doesn't change the fact that these little extras are just novelties, and do little to improve the overall game. Judging from the reviews of individuals who have played the game longer than you have at present, these mini-games, as I said earlier, are great for the first run though before they become repetitive and stale. I'm just trying to lay out all the facts. People should not have to waste their money on buying a game that half-assed and offers nothing over the previous year's title.
-
You're certainly much more forgiving of certain detriments than others. Exactly how has the gameplay (and I'm already tired of that word) improved over the last SD! game? I would certainly feel my intelligence was insulted if the freaks at Yukes expected me to pay $75 (AUS) for a few repetitive, novelty mini-games at the start of some matches and a couple of new meters to clog up the game screen. Every single review I have read has told me that season mode becomes repetitive and rehashes old storylines on the SECOND run through. Additionally, it is only one year long, meaning that Yukes have likely thrown in 10-20 storylines or so and said 'that'll do for this year'. Fuck that noise. I can have 'great wrestling matches' on HCTP. That does not justify shelling out the money for what should be a brand new, innovative title that improves upon the negatives of the previous title, not adds to them. UYI

Jesus Christ, Josh Matthews. Not watching.

Really!? Downhome loves *EVERYTHING* though.

That's what I thought too, SS. However, there is a mission a little bit later on called 'uniting the families' I think. Anyhow, it gives you the opportunity to put and end to constantly defending your territory etc. I won't give away too much, but you will not have to worry about dropping everything your doing at any point to go and save some part of your 'hood.

I watch RAW these days for Edge & Trish. I'm so over the whole 'these three guys take on Evolution' as the main event/main angle. Evolution DEFINETELY needs to disband and go their seperate ways. The whole 'dominant stable' thing is also in total overkill mode at present. Kill the factions for a while and break them all into tag/singles feuds.

Tone down the meaningless bullshit posts, fanofcoils. I finally toppled 'Farewell, my love'. Thanks to the advice here, I took it much slower and focused on taking corners and accelerating on straights. It worked out great, and now I'm kickin' it in San Fierro doing a plethora of jobs. It just keeps getting better.

Am I the only one that was into Warzone? For the time, I thought it was quite fun, despite the 'characters moving like blocks of wood' thing that they had going on.

Since this thread has spoilers in the title, I won't bother with the tags right now. A warning for those reading with caution though: I fucking hate Catalina, but it's cool how this game ties in with GTA III, as the lead character from GTA 3 turns out to be her 'new man', who we all know is shot in the bank robbery in GTA 3. What a bitch.
