I'm absolutely stuck on 'Farewell, my love'. It's obviously the only one mission that is restricting me from progressing any further, even though I have access to San Fierro and have already checked it out (however, I cannot *do* anything there in terms of missions, even though Woozie has told me to call him anytime I was in the city). The race is a REAL bitch. It also seems there is only that one car you can use for it too, which I'm not too handy with. UYI

Could someone please enlighten me as to the whereabouts of the van you need in order to dabble in some late-night burgulary? I've looked at Ryder's house and the initial old bastard's place that you do the first stealth mission in, but found nothing.

Have you seen pictures of Bret's wife prior to shooting out twenty kids? She was a model and was truly beautiful. Bret certainly had a thing for blondes back then, so he probably did mess around with Tammy.

That's the big thing for me too, Coff. I want a game that I'm going to want to keep playing and playing and playing. For example, I just recently bought GTA:San Andreas, and I know I'll be playing that for months on end without ever having to worry about the game becoming repetitive. The piss-poor diversity of HCTP's season mode left me mighty disappointed, and SVR's is apparently WORSE. That be whack, yo.

So when does more of the map become available to you? I've just about completed all the missons in Los Santos (forgive me if that is not the default city you start in, but that is the one I'm referring to), so it has to be sometime soon. I'm currently stuck on the Big Smoke bike ride mission. I toast all the gangsters in the building with no worries, but I'll be damned if I can make it out with the bike still intact.

Is this lowrider mission in question the 'move the analog stick to the music' version or the lowrider race? I don't know how I did it, but I fluked both of these on my first try. I doubt I could do it again though.

Well it is said early on, I think it was in the context of 'dealin' yay' or something, so you're probably right. I just discovered the police lack aquatic skills. I torched some hookers after they insulted my appearance, thus setting off a nearby cop. I legged it to a bridge and leapt into the water. Several cops followed suit, only to instantly die as they hit the water. It was great. UYI

I could not possibly agree anymore. One of the few remaining reasons (although, I'm finding more and more things to like on SD! these days) I still watch the show is because of the entertainment value of JBL. Wouldn't Li Mei be a little more prominent in the story, considering she won the Deadly Alliance tournament etc. Admittedly, I have yet to play Deception though.

Couldn't buy the game today, however it is available to be picked up at 8:30am tomorrow morning, so I'm pumped up. The guy at the EB games store told me he had FOUR HUNDRED pre-orders for GTA alone. He also said he expects huge line-ups early on for those who haven't pre-ordered and come to get the game (people who pre-order are given access to an 'express lane' for speedy purchase). Anyone else run into issues like this when buying GTA?

From all the live VR performances I have seen, they are basically atrociously bad in front of a crowd. I chalk that up to the frontman more than anything else, though. UYI

GTA:SA and SVR this holiday season (GTA is just out now, actually) is more than enough reason to go through with this deal. Does Nintendo have anything planned for X-Mas? Seems Sony has SVR & GTA and Microsoft has Halo 2, but I've no clue what Nintendo has planned to compete with that. UYI
