    HD: P.R. promo

Place this short segment right after the first segment of the show, please. The camera cuts to the backstage area. Tha Puerto Rican enters the arena to the cheers of the fans. PRL is wearing his Puerto Rican flag bandana on his head, sunglasses, an earring in his left ear, a gold chain around his neck, an unbuttoned white collar shirt, a $500 Rolex watch on his right wrist, black dress pants with a leather belt and black dress shoes. He is carrying his black gym bag. P.R. is walking straight to his locker room when he gets stopped by Josh Matthews. PRL mumbles. JOSH MATTHEWS P.R.! P.R.! What brings you here tonight? THA PUERTO RICAN Well, I AM a member of the One And Only AngleSault Thread roster, dumbass! Why else would I be here!? J. MATH But you’re not scheduled for a match tonight! THA PUERTO RICAN So? Tha Puerto Rican does whatever he wants, WHENEVER he wants! And besides, I have a VERY SPECIAL REASON for being here tonight! You see, it just so happens that tonight is the night where I reveal my grand AngleMania plan! All of the pieces are in place, finally. Tonight, Tha Puerto Rican will walk down The People’s Ramp, slide into The People’s Ring, and in front of all of The Lightning Bolts inside of the arena and watching on TVs all around the world on Tha Puerto Rican’s show, HeldDOWN~!, I will reveal what I have in store for AngleMania VIII Sunday April 5, 2009 from the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana! Trust me, Todd, you and all of these people will like what I’ve got in mind! Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got to get ready. THE CHAMP HAS SPO-KUN~!!! Tha Puerto Rican walks away. Josh Matthews looks on. The crowd cheers loudly.

    The Old School questions thread

I don't think Hogan ever appeared on WCW Saturday Night after Nitro started. I do remember him giving an interview after World War 3 in 1995, but it wasn't at the arena WCW Saturday Night was in. Wasn't the very first nWo propaganda video shown first on WCW Saturday Night?

How many times did Hulk Hogan appear on WCW Saturday Night?

    RIP Sly Sommers

You had me worry for a second when I logged into the board and this was the thread that was showing for the OAOAST! Good to see that you are actually okay! Yeah, I think a memorial show for Sly could work. We've already ripped off everything else the WWE has done. Might as well do our take on their memorial shows.

    Awesome Wrestling Pictures

The thing I remember most about the Vader helmet was when he fought El Gigante in Japan and he squished El Gigante's face into the helmet so hard that the steam shot in his face. I remember watching that at four-years-old thinking, "Vader has a magical helmet!"

The 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania Thread

Apparently WrestleMania XX was going to be marketed as the 20th anniversary of WrestleMania before they noticed that it wasn't really the 20th anniversary.

    WWE SmackDown - March 13, 2009

I still don't know why WWE hasn't changed his theme to a Doors rip-off song yet. Probably because a Jimi Hendrix rip-off makes for a better theme song.

    Mandalay's failed WCW purchase

I read in the Death Of WCW book that USA executives hated wrestling and weren't really interested in having it on the network again. Bischoff did go to Fox, but Fox declined. And I think that the popularity of professional wrestling started to decline in the fall of 2000. The Austin heel turn put the final nail in the coffin.

When do you start writing your stuff?

For PPVs, it's the same as HeldDOWN~!. The day of the show.
  14. Ed Wood Caulfield

When do you start writing your stuff?

I usually start the day of the show. If I have more than one match, I'll do one match the week before the show, and the other match the day of the show.

  17. Poor Vince. That dream never came true. Along with the bodybuilding federation...the football league...the record label...the restuarant... Seriously, what is Vince's biggest failure? I think the XFL is the first choice, but moving WrestleMania VII from the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum to the Los Angeles Sports Arena because of poor ticket sales has gotta be up there. I mean, at least the WWE will admit that the XFL was a mistake. To this day, they *still* insist that the reason WrestleMania VII got moved from the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum was because of a bomb threat. It's like it's the biggest lie in WWE history.
  18. Ta-da! That WrestleMania VII commercial definitely existed, King Kamala Classic.

Wasn't the issue that they were prison tattoos? I thought it was because he has Louis Farrakhan tattooed on his chest.

    24/7 Shorties

Hulk Hogan gives one of his more insane, incomprehensible promos after his match against Kamala from the WCW Main Event from August 6, 1995. Hogan saying, "BOOMSHAKALAKA~!" over and over again cracked me the fuck up!

YO! TSM raps: John Cena in 2009

The funniest reason to hate Cena came from Scott Keith's blog years ago: "He dresses like a ten-year-old!" Huh? He wears T-shirts and jean shorts. I'm not seeing the 10-year-old connection here.
