Films like these remind me of those awful sci-fi movies from the 50s.

    Feedback for 10/27

Yea! Chicks Over Dicks is back! How I've missed them. That was a really great segment. COD can still bring the funny. I liked how Krista looked deeper into the Upstarts vs. Originals feud. And why you always got to pick on Terry Taylor, huh? The poor guy! The rest of the show was the usual batch of goodness. I can't wait for World Without End. I'm just disappointed there was no Love Shack this week. I need my weekly fix of the Shack.

I don't think I've ever seen the Black Eyed Peas mentioned in a greatest rappers of all-time list. The same goes for Fat Joe and N.O.R.E.

    Rap's best dis records

Afroman did a song called "Whack Rappers" where he insulted pretty much every mainstream rapper out there. At first, I thought it was KRS-One, so I was shocked when I found out this is the same guy who did "Because I Got High". He has some shitty lines, but then again, he has some funny lines. I've always liked this one: It's from the song "Professor Booty" by the Beastie Boys from the Check Your Head album. MCA is dissing MC Serch from 3rd Bass (who did a dis song on the Beastie Boys on The Cactus Album).

Which album has had the most samples on it? I use to think it was Paul's Boutique, but I'm not so sure.

    Give me some good hip/hop

Since you like the Beastie Boys, you may end up liking Quarashi too. They have many similatries (three white rappers, similar beats and lyrics), but they're not a complete knockoff of them. You gotta go to http://www.tonlist.com to download their albums (for free, btw), since only one of their albums (Jinx) is availiable to buy in the U.S. Xeneizes is their best album. I also think you should check out some of the nerdcore rap acts. MC Chris is good and he's pretty funny. MC Frontalot is another good one. And I second Public Enemy. Their new album, Rebirth Of A Nation just came out, but I have no idea if you can find it in any record stores.
  19. From HBO.com-- I'm a huge George Carlin fan so I can't wait for this. This should be good.

"Krokodilamadurinn" by Quarashi starts playing as Spanish Fly points to both sides of the arena and then walks to the ring, slapping hands with the fans along the way. Fly enters the ring and gets on a turnbuckle raising his arms in the air to cheers. Spanish Fly gets off the turnbuckle and gets on another turnbuckle, raising his arms in the air recieving another pop from the crowd. Fly gets off the turnbuckle and looks at the entryway waiting for his opponent as the lights go back in the arena and "Krokodilamadurinn" by Quarashi continues playing. Manager/valet/sidekick Sometimes comes to the ring with Otaku II but most of the time he comes to the ring by himself Catchphrases/Trademark gestures -Before doing the 6-1-9, Spanish Fly yells out "6-1-9!" History/Background/Career Highlights Born and bred in Tijuana, Mexico, Spanish Fly has been a fan of professional wrestling since he was a young boy, specifically the Lucha Libre style. Spanish Fly dropped out of school when he was 13 and began his training then. He donned a mask and named himself Spanish Fly and started wrestling in the Lucha Libre organazations when he was 15. Spanish Fly would win several titles during his time in the Lucha Libre organazations, and become pretty popular down in Mexico. Puerto Rican Lightning scouted AAA in August of 2003, during a trip to Mexico, recuperating from his brutal Three Stages Of Hell Match against "Shooter" Jay Darring at July's License To Pin OAOAST pay-per-view. PRL discovered Spanish Fly and fought him in several matches, including defending the Puerto Rican Championship against Fly. PRL felt he was worthy and, with promises of money, women, and success, convinced him to join The Lightning Crew in December of 2003. Spanish Fly made his OAOAST debut on December 28, 2003 at the OAOAST's Bloody, Battered, And Beaten pay-per-view, taking out PRL's nemesis, The Mad Cappa after his match with PRL for the OAOAST North American Championship with an Unprettier from the top rope. After a brutal beatdown, PRL delcared that in order for Cappa to get another shot at PRL, he would have to beat every single member of The Lightning Crew in a Lightning Crew Gauntlet. Cappa's first opponent in The Lightning Crew Gauntlet was Spanish Fly. The Mad Cappa would wind up defeating Spanish Fly and go on to beat every member of The Lightning Crew, and later on beat Puerto Rican Lightning to win the OAOAST Puerto Rican Championship at AngleMania III in a memorable match. PRL was not pleased with Spanish Fly's performance against Cappa, but, after some begging from Fly, he allowed Fly to stay in The Lightning Crew. Spanish Fly spent the next several months serving PRL as a member of The LC, but never truly shined on his own, although he did recieve a title shot against Crystal for the 24/7 Championship on an episode of HeldDOWN~!. Still, Spanish Fly didn't do much during his time in The Lightning Crew. On the June 10, 2004 episode of HeldDOWN~!, Tha Puerto Rican was arrested for attacking OAOAST Director Of Authority Abe Vigoda and "Cowboy" Bill Watts. As PR was being put into the police car, he told Spanish Fly that he was fired from The Lightning Crew. Spanish Fly was crushed, and was near the point of tears. Fly disappeared from the OAOAST for 14 months, competing in the Indies, Japan, Mexico, and OAOOVW during this time, winning several more titles along the way. At AngleSlam on August 28, 2005, "The Corporate Champion" Tha Puerto Rican defeated Otaku II to retain the OAOAST 24/7 Championship. After the match, PRL was attacked by Spanish Fly, who made his shocking return to the OAOAST. Fly got the best of PR that night, and vowed to beat Tha Puerto Rican to become the 24/7 Champion. Spanish Fly has also helped and partnered with fellow PRL enemy Otaku II. Otaku II felt he and Fly made a great team. So much so, that on the October 20, 2005 episode of HeldDOWN~!, Otaku II announced that Spanish Fly was the newest member of Mad Machine. Otaku has mentioned that he and Spanish Fly would like to challenge for the OAOAST Tag Team Championships at a later date. Spanish Fly has done numerous sneak attacks on PRL ever since AngleSlam, including costing PRL and Stephen Joseph Popick their match against Black T at Dirty Deeds on September 25, 2005. Spanish Fly has vowed payback on PRL for kicking him out of The Lightning Crew. Will Spanish Fly get his revenge? And will Spanish Fly and Otaku II get a Tag Team Title shot? Stay tuned...

    Sting vs Hogan

The "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan/Sting feud is one of my favorite feuds ever. Infact, it could have been my absolute favorite feud ever if not for the awful, awful ending. The buildup was just perfect. The commercial for Starrcade 1997 with Sting in the ruins. The fact that Sting and Hogan didn't even touch each other until their match (well, excluding Uncensored 1997). Some of my favorite moments from the feud: -Sting coming down from the rafters and attacking the nWo at Uncensored 1997. -That time Eric Bischoff did a promo in the ring, and Sting came out from underneath the ring to give Bischoff the Scorpion Deathdrop. -Hogan and Eric Bischoff bringing out a fake Sting and having him beg them for forgiveness, but then the real Sting showed up and gave Bischoff and the fake Sting the Scorpion Deathdrop. -Sting giving Bischoff the Scorpion Deathdrop, then stuffing a Hogan t-shirt in his mouth. Sting then smiled, which caused the fans to cheer even more, and the announcers made a big deal about him showing emotion for the first time in a long time. -Sting holding the crow while that monologue narrated by that kid played at Clash Of The Champions in August 1997 -The week after the nWo attacked Sting (this was on the same show where Bret Hart debuted in WCW), a mannequin dressed like Sting repelled from the rafters, and the nWo ended Nitro beating the mannequin up. -Then the next week, the mannequin Sting repelled from the rafters and fell through the ring. The nWo brought it to Hogan, who was going to "wipe the smile off of Sting's face." However, when Hogan removed the mask, it was revealed to be the real Sting disguised as a mannequin. Sting then demolished the nWo, while Hogan ran away again. I always loved that segment. -The time a bunch of guys dressed like Sting ran into the ring and were beaten up by the nWo. Buff Bagwell punched one of the fake Stings, but the fake Sting no-sold the shot, and gave Buff the Scorpion Deathdrop. It turned out that the Sting who gave Buff the Scorpion Deathdrop was actually the real Sting. I always loved that segment too. -At the end of nWo Monday Nitro, Hogan recieved a present that he thought was from Bret Hart. The present was a waxed Hogan head that freaked Hogan out. The camera then cut to the entrance where Sting was standing on top of the nWo Nitro logo. He then zip-lined towards the ring just as Nitro ended. Just an awesome feud with a sucky ending.
