    SNL Review

I'm probaly the only person on the planet Earth that saw the Family Matters finale when it originally aired in July 1998. That was one LONG review, but I did enjoy it. Even the Hilary Duff part. I was going to see the premiere yesterday but I fell asleep and I forgot to record it. Nice to read what happened. Thumbs up on your review.

Nice video. I guess they're no longer doing the PPV rundown w/ matchup graphics like they've been doing for the past 3 years.

That new matchup graphic screen sucks. I liked the old one better with the metal bars and hooks.

I got a question. Big Show almost killed Kurt Angle, yet Kurt is the heel for wanting revenge. Why?

I don't think that new theme song has anything to do with wrestling whatsoever. Well atleast IMO, did anybody catch what the lyrics were?

Who wants to help me sue the WWE?

On this week's SmackDown!, Heidenreich, this tall blonde muscular dude who is being managed by Paul Heyman, "kidnapped" Michael Cole, and took him to this room, locked the door, and stood behind him with the camera only showing the two from the waist up. With Heidenreich breathing hard, Michael Cole wincing, and the fact that Heidenreich was standing behind Cole with the camera only showing them from the waist up, it seemed like Heidenreich was anally raping Michael Cole...then read him poetry. EDIT: Yeah, Papacita pretty much summed it up.

    The nWo Propaganda Videos

I'm sure that everybody who watched WCW from 1996 on remembers the nWo Propaganda videos that aired. Usually these videos were about how great the nWo were and how they could beat everybody, but they were done in such an unusual style that you couldn't forget them. All the videos were in black and white, there were jump cuts galore, some of the videos were filmed to look like they were filmed on a 8 mn home movie old fashion camera. The audio sometimes skipped or repeated itself. Scratches appeared on the film like in old films from the 50s and 60s. It was all weird, yet at the same time very cool. And who can forget the beginning of each video where that guy said in a whisper: "The Following Announcement Has Been Paid For By The New World Order." I always used to mark out whenever that message appeared on screen since I knew I was going to watch something good. So, who else loved the propaganda videos? What were your favorites? One of my favorites is the one where Hollywood Hogan is by himself. It was just him reveling in his evilness, but it was cool watching it. I also liked the one that was made before Starrcade 1997 when the nWo did a beatdown on Sting. In that one, they took a Sting action figure and repelled it from the rafters, only to cut the rope and have Sting fall to the ring, and have a Hollywood Hogan action figure beat it up. I always loved that one. And I don't know if it counts as a propaganda video, but I loved the intro to Souled Out 1997 with Eric Bischoff's "We Are In Control" speech and the voice saying "New-New-New World Order" again and again. Then there was one that was a collage of Rowdy Piper beatdowns and dressing Piper in different costumes making fun of his kilt. And there was one where Hogan and Nash talked about their "Fingerpoint of Doom" match as the greatest match ever with Nash and Hogan crying in a funny moment. And another where the nWo dressed up as Flair and the 4 Horsemen with Hogan playing Flair and Disco Inferno playing Gene Okuerland celebrating David Flair's heel turn. That was awesome. So what were your favorites?

    Regarding your favorite bands.........

For Public Enemy, it was the moment that I heard "Fight The Power" for the first time. From that moment on I was a Public Enemy fan, and I just started looking for PE songs from then on. That and I have loved Flava Flav ever since I was little because he is so weird and unusual. For Quarashi, it would have to be when I heard the songs "Baseline" and "Tarfur". I liked their song "Stick 'Em Up", but it took a while for that song to grow on me, and I LOVED "Mr. Jinx" and the video for it, although I only liked the song, but not so much the band, since I simply forgot about the group and the song until November of last year. Then one day in March 2004, I decided to find out more about Quarashi, and that is when I downloaded "Baseline" and "Tarfur". I remember listening to the songs and thinking "Damn! These songs are good! Quarashi is awesome! What else did these guys make?" And I downloaded more of their songs, and soon got their album, Jinx. And that sealed my fandom for Quarashi. Now I listen to that band all the time, and it's my second favorite band right now (behind Public Enemy). The moment I saw the video for "Complicated" by Avril Lavigne I became a fan, because she was the hottest girl I had seen at that time in my life.

When were you last a mark?

January/February 2000. I've been a wrestling fan ever since I was a baby, so that would make it 14 years. I had had the internet for a year and a half and had used it to search for wrestling sites, although the sites I usually went on were mark sites and e-fed sites. Then one day, I went on this site that talked about backstage news, and it shocked me that someone actually knew what was going to happen on the show before it happened. Soon, I went on more of these sites, and then one day in February 2000, I went on Wrestleline.com, and from then on I slowly became a smark, although I say it wasn't until the InVasion angle in 2001 that I became a full-fledged smark.

    PPV names wanted

I would like if we could have a ppv one day from San Juan, Puerto Rico. IntenseZone already had a show in San Juan back in February which I posted and it was pretty much a PRL-celebration show. If we were to have a PPV, I would like to post it since I have never posted a PPV before. And the ppv wouldn't pay so much attention to PRL this time around (unless PRL was World Champion at the time of the PPV, then I could see more attention paid to PRL). The IZ show from San Juan was subtitled The Battle of San Juan, and I would like to use that as the title, although since it would be the second OAOAST show from Puerto Rico, then maybe we can call it Battle of San Juan II: Electric Boogaloo!
