The Anglepalooza booking thread!
Ed Wood Caulfield replied to Patty O'Green's topic in Brandon Truitt
Heh, I guess I forgot. I'm going to have to watch Royal Rumble 2003 as I haven't seen it in a year. But yeah, in that case, is it possible for Colombian Heat to play the Shannon Moore to PRL's Matt Hardy? -

Okay, I was searching the internet for photos and articles on the 2000 New Year's Eve Celebrations around the world, where I stumbled onto a site call Prophecy.Org. The site was created by a guy named Raymond Aguilera, who wrote a book called "Prophecies, Visions, Occurences, and Dreams". In the book, Raymond claims that God himself (or herself or itself), has been speaking through him since 1992. The book is filled with prophecies Aguillera claims God gave to him, of which there have been over 300. But the REALLY interesting part is that Aguilera claims that he has actual audio footage of God speaking through him. Yes, this man says he has the actual voice of God himself on tape. Now, I'm a tad bit skeptical in believing this one man has footage of God speaking, but to prove that he does, he has posted an audio clip of "God" speaking through him on his website. Here's Raymond Aguilera's testimony from Prophecy: Raymond Aguilera could have just used a voicebox, or some computer audio program to make his or someone else's voice sound the way it does in the clip of "God" speaking. This could all just be a hoax designed to sell his book, although this is certainly an extreme way of doing so. I guess this was the only way Raymond Aguillera could bring attention to his book. This just seems too much like a hoax. I doubt even the most devout Christian wouldn't be skeptical at first. Anyway, here is what Aguilera claims is undeniable proof that there is a god. You will need RealPlayer to hear "God" speak. Go to This Page on his website to hear an audio soundbyte of "God" reading excerpts from the Book of Revealations in the Bible. Also hear Raymond Aguilera do a voice test to prove that he did not disguise his voice to make him sound like God. The site also claims that you can hear "God" speak in Spanish and an unidentifiable language. So, what do you think? I personally think it is a hoax, but it is certainly interesting that a man would claim such a thing was true, even if it was just an attempt to gain some attention and sell some books. There is also a website that counts down to the day the world is supposely going to end. December 21, 2012, which is the date the world is going to end as supposely discovered in the Bible Codes. Hear the clips and post your comments, etc.

-The Shuffle is going to take on Puerto Rican Lightning in a match with Puerto Rican Lightning's right arm tied behind his back to prove that Shuffle can't beat him. PRL will cut a promo explaining this which I will write. And Dids will write the actual match. -I had originally wanted Cuban Wall and Colombian Heat to take on two jobbers, but what if they face SpiderPoet and Reject instead? It's important that Cuban Wall have a match this week as his match will lead to an important announcement from PRL on the next IZ after this one. So how about it? -The Lightning Crew Gauntlet: One-On-One Straight Up Wrestling Match: Thomas Rodriguez's wrestling debut. The Mad Cappa vs. Thomas Rodriguez (with Mr. Boricua) -Short PRL segment. -Lightning Crew T-Shirt commercial -Battle of San Juan countdown ad

Man Claims He Has Audio Of God's Actual Voice

Now, is it just me or does "God" sound like either Mick Foley or Jake "The Snake" Roberts in the audio clip? I can't decide which. And doesn't he sound like the Undertaker in the beginning of the clip when he is speaking in tongues? -

December 21, 2012 is also the date the Mayans predicted the world would end. Another creepy concidence is that in the Bible Codes, December 21, 2012 is the day when the world ends by an asteroid hitting the Earth. An asteroid was discovered heading towards the Earth with the date it was suppose to hit being....December 21, 2012. How's THAT for creepy? I take it December 21, 2012 is becoming the new "in" thing when it comes to figuring out the date for the end, just as January 1, 2000 was before. Then again, people WERE wrong about the world ending in 2000 being the end so.... -

Hi everyone. I'm sorry that I was unable to send in all my segments in on time. I was busy writing The Mad Cappa vs. Mr. Boricua match all last night, so I was busy making that match good. I think it turned out good, so I'm sure it was worth it. Anyway, I am glad, Mystery Eskimo, that you saved space to include my stuff, because I have all my segments written and ready to be sent. The only thing I have left to write is PRL's promo. Other than that, my stuff can be sent to you so that they can be edited into the show. Is that okay? So, I will be sending my stuff soon. I'll have everything sent to you by 6 a.m. today New York Time, so you can edit it in. Is that alright? I'll have everything in by 6 a.m.

How many of you are fans of The Critic? I am a die-hard Critic fan. I've seen all the episodes and believe it to be hilarious. One of the best shows ever made and another great show that, like Mystery Science Theater 3000, never became a hit with the general public. I'm pissed that the show only had 23 episodes. It was great, it deserved more, damnit! All the characters were funny, especially Jay Sherman. I can't pick one episode I loved the best. I loved them all. That show has so many funny moments that I still think about and laugh at to this day. That shows how funny the show is. If you can see it 10 years later and still find it funny. So many moments. Like when that demon samurai is in the guitar shop playing "Big girls don't cry." Or when Marty is in the talent show and shows off his flexible stomach. The Orson Welles scenes were awesome too. As was any appearance by the kid from Stonehedge. Particulary the scene in the Gulf War episode where the kid has trouble getting into the apartment, then sits on the stoop and mopes. I think the one moment I laughed at the most was the episode when Jay was in Hollywood, and there is a scene where he is relaxing by a pool and taps glasses with (I think) his agent. The tap causes an earthquake to happen which causes the H in the Hollywood sign to fall down. There is a man living underneath the Hollywood sign and when he sees the H falls he utters the classic line. "What the H?" The H crushes his home just as he runs away. That moment cracked me up the most since it came out of nowhere. That is the funniest Critic moment, IMO. I can't believe Fox and ABC BOTH cancelled this show. It truly deserved better treatment. So, if you are a fan of The Critic, this is your thread. Post your favorite episodes, favorite moments, characters. Let's all look back at this awesome show. I'll post more of my favorite moments later. I leave with this: Penguins can't fly. PEGUINS CAN'T FLY! and Roaches aren't edible. ROACHES AREN'T EDIBLE.

Also, planned to be sent in (hopefully), by Tuesday or edited in Wednesday: -Lightning Crew Gauntlet Match: One-on-One Match: If The Mad Cappa loses, he and Puerto Rican Lightning can never fight each other, ever: The Mad Cappa vs. Mr. Boricua -Cuban Wall vs. The Shuffle which I believe B. Dids is writing. -Puerto Rican Lightning does an interview in which he discusses The Mad Cappa, The Shuffle and his North American Title match against him. -The date for the NA Title Match between PRL and Shuffle is announced. -Lightning Crew T-Shirt Commercial -Also expect something regarding the PRL/Mad Cappa feud. When is everything due by?

Is anybody here a fan of the t.v. show Kids In The Hall? I've been a fan since 1999, and I think it is one of the funniest shows ever made. Defintley in my Top 5 list. I first saw the show in 1994, the final episode actually, and have been recording the episodes every weekday on Comedy Central at 2 and 2:30 p.m. I also remember the show being on 11:30 p.m. every night on Comedy Central followed by MST3K at midnight. My favorite performers were Dave Foley, Kevin McDonald, and Scott Thompson. I enjoyed the Pig Boy sketch, the Son of Pig Boy, that Dark side show with Kevin and Dave as Heccubus. I also love the one where they're playing poker and are talking about women. And the one where Bruce Mccollough plays that teenager who girlfriend dumps him and he runs away while performing a song. I still have that song stuck in my head. And who can forget "The Beard" and "The Life of Cyril St. John". And the classic "Cincatti Kid vs. Toronto Kid"? So, who else here was a fan of Kids In The Hall? Post your favorite sketches and characters and discuss how great Kids In The Hall was.

Soon, soon.

I would personally like to see Public Enemy get their own ICON show since they were certainly an influence on some of rap's biggest stars today. They were the first rap group to rap about political and social issues. And Flava Flav is the best hype man ever. But that's just me. Knowing MTV, they're probalby have 50 Cent do a cover of "Fight The Power". *Shudder*

The Colombian Heat, Cuban Wall, and Mad Cappa/Spanish Fly matches will be sent soon.

The Jay Sherman mechanical thing that said "Buy my book! Buy my book! Buy my book!" Jay's Australlian friend rescues him from the psycho fan then afterwards bumps into the mechinal Jay. "Jay": Buy my book! Buy my book! Buy my book! Buy my book! Buy my-- He shoots the mechinal Jay with his gun. Australian: Sorry Jay. I did it for it's own good. Jay: Why you do that for? All he said was "Buy my book! Buy my book! Buy my book! Buy my book! Buy my book!" A gun is pointed at Jay. Jay: I'll stop now. And that one episode where Jay remembers the night he won the Pulitzer Prize and was at the nightclub. Jay: That was a sad memory. So, now let's look through it through the power of illusion! And they do the same scene but Jay is breakdancing and gets the girl. "If the movie stinks. Just don't go!"
-
Sure, go ahead. Just don't forget to make it Elimination Rules and to show PRL seeing the match from his dressing room.

What did everyone think of the PRL/Mad Cappa match? Did you think the 11 BUST A CAPs were unneccessary considering that Cappa lost the match? Do you think I overdid the neck injury part?
