I think the Manhattan Drop was the name for Buff Bagwell's Buff Blockbuster in WCW vs. nWo: World Tour for the Nintendo 64. I remember reading that in the Official Stragety Guide. -

Let's Talk About...No Holds Barred
Ed Wood Caulfield replied to King Kamala's topic in General Wrestling
I LOVED No Holds Barred as a child. Hey, what I can say? I was a Hulkamaniac growing up. I must have seen that film like 1,000 times by now. Looking back, it's painfully obvious how lame it is. 5 things have always irked me though, even as a child that loved this movie. 1.) Brell asking Hulk to lose the match on purpose or else his brother dies or whatever. A professional wrestler being asked to lose a match intentionally!? Perish the thought! 2.) When Brell destroys the control room at the end of the film, thereby cutting off the feed and preventing the TV audience from seeing the end of the match. Considering how obsess he was with ratings, you would think the last thing that he would do would be to prevent people watching on television from seeing the ending of the match. Yet, he did. I never got that. I guess they needed a way for him to die without the Hulkster actually killing him. Also, what exactly did he first break that cut the feed off? They never showed that for some reason. 3.) The audience cheering after Zeus and Brell died. What a heartless bunch of people. "Well we just saw one guy fall to his death and another guy get electrocuted! But who cares? Rip won! YEEEEAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" 4.) Who the hell wears dresses and tuxedos to a professional wrestling match? 5.) Since when do ring announcers do commentary? Keep in mind, I was 4-years-old and still believed in Santa Claus. Yet, even back then, those questions were on my mind. -

Who Do You Think Will Win At November Reign: PRL or Leon Rodez?
Ed Wood Caulfield posted a topic in Brandon Truitt
I was inspired to do this by WWE and their text messaging polls. Basically, just vote on who you think will win the OAOAST World Heavyweight Championship Match between Tha Puerto Rican and Leon Rodez at November Reign on November 30th. I know we don't have a million people reading OAOAST shows, so I'll just fudge the numbers to make it seem like a ton more people voted than really did. This is just give me an idea on how to fudge the numbers. So vote please! -

WWF Survivor Series 1991 & This Tuesday In Texas
Ed Wood Caulfield replied to KingPK's topic in WWE Multimedia
I remember the Savage promo after Jake slapped Elizabeth at Tuesday In Tuesday only because that promo scared the shit out of me as a four-year-old. I thought Savage was gonna come to my room at night and try to kill me. I swore off the WWF for about a year afterwards strictly because of Savage. I think I ordered the 1992 Royal Rumble and then didn't order anything else until WrestleMania IX. Everytime I saw the Macho Man on my TV, I literally ran to my room and hid because I didn't want him to find me. I was a weird child growing up. -
That was the closed captioning, and the closed capitioning said, "Snaffles".

I think the real reason is that Austin accidentally broke the new WWF Championship belt a few months before Breakdown. And since Austin wanted his own version of the Title anyway, they didn't go ahead and create the version with the WWF scratch logo that we all know and love until just right before or right after Breakdown.

They didn't really seem to favour either McCain or Obama which surprised me. I thought for sure that they were going to rip Obama apart. That or another "You're voting for either a stupid douche or a turd sandwich for President of the United States." episode like they did for the 2004 Presidental election. They ended up mocking the reactions of supporters from both sides. But the ending made it seem like Matt and Trey are willing to give Obama a chance.

What Wrestling Shirts Did You Own?
Ed Wood Caulfield replied to Diamonddust's topic in General Wrestling
I used to have a long sleeve Goldberg shirt with "Who's Next?" on the sleeves. I also used to have a nWo Hollywood T-shirt which is weird because I hated the nWo Black And White back then. I still have a bootleg Rock T-shirt with him posing with the Intercontinental Championship belt on the front and the picture of him from that one issue of WWF RAW Magazine with him standing in front of Mount Rushmore with his face inserted onto one of the President's faces on the back. I also have a nWo Wolfpac T-shirt with "No Mercy" and the nWo Wolfpac logo on the back. I still got my Rock Brahma Bull football jersey. And I know for sure that I've got a Stone Cold Steve Austin What? T-shirt somewhere in my room. -
