How much of an idiot does Antwaan Randel El look like right now? I know they had chances after that play where he threw away the lateral, but still bad play. The Steelers offense in the entire second half was some of the worst play calling I've ever seen. Never tried to make any changes until the final drive.

There isn't in an ad because it's an unannounced sale. As for games worth buying, a few of them I bought at regular price and had no problem with it, others I'd only buy because of the price, but here's a list of games that are at least decent if you don't already have them or a sequel. CUB - Goldeneye: Rogue Agent $4.99 CUB - Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes $4.99 CUB - NBA Street 2 $4.99 CUB - Paper Mario 2 $9.99 CUB - SC: Pandora Tomorrow Tom Clancy $9.99 CUB - Tony Hawk's Underground (THUG)... $4.99 CUB - True Crime: Streets of LA $4.99 PS2 - Def Jam Vendetta $4.99 PS2 - Driver 3 $4.99 PS2 - Narc $4.99 PS2 - Resident Evil Outbreak (Online) $9.99 PS2 - Silent Hill 4 $4.99 PS2 - Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 $4.99 XBX - Midway Arcade Treasures $4.99 XBX - Midway Arcade Treasures 2 $4.99 XBX - Mortal Kombat: Deception (Se) $9.99 XBX - Outlaw Golf 2 $4.99 XBX - Silent Hill 4 $4.99 I don't know much about the handheld games.

I'm probably going to go to the store tomorrow to see if they have anything good left. The sale began today right when the store opened and last time I got there early and stuff was already selling out. Maybe I'll get lucky.

I had Willie Parker on the bench in 2 leagues today including this one. I wonder how many more starts he'll get after today.

I think the team I drafted turned out pretty solid. I have two of the top 12 QBs from last year in terms of fantasy points. I have 3 good starting receivers and 3 backups who at least 1 of should turn out pretty good. If Marcel Shipp manages to beat out JJ Arrington in Arizona then I'm looking good everywhere.

My senior year in high school he came and gave a speach even though no one had any idea who he was. He ended up getting guest speakers permanently banned from my school for trying to spread his commie beliefs. There were a bunch of school board meetings where parents came and and complained about how Patch Adams was trying to turn their children into communists. It was awesome.

I know it doesn't really matter because it was an exhibition game, but the ESPN TV people managed to find a way to have an interview going on during at least half of what looked like big plays in the game by players I didn't know. Guys would be making big hits or third down catches and I wouldn't catch the name and there wouldn't be any mention of it after.

Perfect timing with the Hines Ward thing. They scheduled the press conference for right before the ESPN game tonight against the Eagles where there would have been countless Hines Ward/TO references.

I don't know that it necessarily influenced the review, but since Ebert's review of the first movie they've had a sort of ongoing fued. Rob Schneider tends to take any sort of negative reactions really personally which I don't understand because I'm sure he's making good money and has a bunch of fans who don't care what they say.

Wasn't he also in the Guiness Book for world's largest feet or something? He used to appear on Howard Stern everyone once in a while as well.

Kenny Rogers was just reinstated 7 games early by an arbitrator. Didn't see that coming.

I'm in for the new league as well if we aren't going to continue last year's.

Yeah, ended up being Lawton for Gerut and some amount of cash.

Comparing the three year averages for Ward and Harrison says he deserves plenty: Harrison: 108 catches, 1369 yards, 12.7 YPC, 12 TDs Ward 96 catches, 1165 yards, 12.1 YPC, 9 TDs Looks pretty damn similar to me. I don't get why he turned down that contract though. Harrison is a better WR, but not by much, Ward getting paid just under what Harrison makes seems pretty fair to me. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Those numbers make them look pretty close, but if you go four seasons Harrison's numbers look a lot better. Hines really had 2 seasons where he could be considered an elite receiver in 2002 and 2003. In 2001 and 2004 he had almost exactly 1000 yards and only 4 TDs. Marvin Harrison 108 catches 1408 yards 13.0 YPC 13 TD Hines Ward 95 catches 1125 yards 11.8 YPC 8 TD Compare those Hines numbers to Joe Horn 86 catches 1237 yards 14.4 YPC 9 TD Joe Horn got a $7 million bonus this year.

It looks like Hines Ward won't be in camp on time. The Steelers offered him something close to a $9 million bonus and he wants Marvin Harrison type money. I don't think Ward could get $9 million from other teams in the league, so it may be a mistake on his part. He's a lot more important to the Steelers than he would be any other team, but he just doesn't put up the elite numbers he needs to for that kind of money.

GTA San Andreas forced to change game rating

The guys at EB told me they are still planning to sell the game unless they are told otherwise by the company. I guess this might be good news for them since very few other stores are carrying it. -
Bloodhound Gang always get a laugh out of me even though sometimes I feel like they really shouldn't.

Back in November 2000, Shawn did a one off match with one of the TWA guys that was billed as his last match ever. At that point it was clear that his back was still in very bad shape. He was insanely careful trying to make sure he didn't hit his back at all. I think he only did a second rope elbow drop that put his back in any danger.

The show is horrible, but John Stamos stuck in a tree=genious.

When I first did that mission I went to a guide site that said she usually will be ther between 12:00 and 22:00, but she never was. I got her to show up once and then she disappeared again. If you do get her to show up you should kill her and then you will be able to get into her house to continue on, because I couldn't get past that mission since she never came back again.

I picked up the game at Best Buy yesterday night and they had a deal where the game was $40, it came with a free preorder for Madden which means $5 off, 2 free Cokes, and a free entry in some $50 EA Fantasy Football League. Pretty good deal. I've been playing the Heisman mode a little today and I'm liking it. I'm kind of wondering how interested I'll be in the game after I finish that and a few years of a dynasty though.

There is a dance club in each city I believe. I know for sure there is one in Las Venturas and San Fierro. You should be able to find it on the big fold out map that comes with the game. You have to hit the buttons right when they are in the middle of the circle that they pass through. It's not too hard after you give it a couple tries to practice. You'll have to use this same skill later on in a low rider mission.

It's a Christian Metal band called Eternal Decision. I don't know why I remember that.

I actually didn't have much of a problem with that Cop Wheels mission. I think the one I found to be the second hardest was the one called Up, Up, and Away which I think I did right after that. I ended up having to go to the airport and flying a helicopter to the area and it was still pretty tough from there.
-
That RC helicopter mission took me probably 50 tries. Nothing else in the game took more than about 5 tries, but that mission was near impossible. I eventually got it just being lucky and getting the first two really quickly. I don't think I'd be able to do it again.
