Has anyone else listening to the radio previews on the official site noticed that the guy on KDST sounds an awful lot like Axl Rose? Is it him?

Isn't Salvatore Leone supposed to be dead? I remember whacking him in GTA III. GTAIII is set in 2001 or whatever, San Andreas is set in the early 90s. It's like how Phil Cassidy has 2 arms for part of Vice City then loses one towards the end when he was already in GTAIII with one arm.

I checked around at a few websites with some info from people who have the leaked game or leaked instruction book and a learned a lot of new cool stuff that hasn't been announced. I don't know if you guys want it all to be a surprise, so I'll put it in the spoiler text. This is all gathered from various fan sites and message boards and I assume it is true. -It will keep track of stats that you work for. The stats are Respect(for recruiting gang members), Stamina(for running and swimming), Muscle, Fat, and Sex Appeal. -Known actors that I've heard are doing voices are Ice Cube(as Sweet) and Andy Dick(as a radio host) EDIT--Also Chris Penn and Samuel L Jackson as cops, and Charlie Murphy I'm not sure who he's doing. -Kent Paul, Salvatore Leone, and Ken Rosenburg will be returning characters. -The talk radio station has 8 different radio shows that will play throughout the day. They are: "The News with Lianne Furget" , "The Tight End Zone" , "The Wild Traveler" , "Entertaining America" (featuring the return of Lazlow) , "Garderning with Maurice" , "I Say/You Say" , "Lonely Hearts show" , and "Area 53". -You will now have a camera that you can use for taking pictures during the game. Your pictures will be saved and viewable whenever you want.

Not a big fan of the soundtrack really. Looks like I like a few songs off of each station, hate a few off of each station, and don't really care about most of it.

The Bucs sent Keenan McCardell to the Chargers for a 3 and a 6 this draft according to Fox Sports Radio. This has been a hot deadline for WR trades. Pretty strange for the NFL.

I heard about this a few days ago from some Amen fans. I'm really looking forward to checking this out. I'm not a huge black metal fan, but I enjoy some of it, and it should be cool when they incorporate some new elements into it. It's one of the coolest collections of musicians ever. Hopefully Happy Tom had a big hand in the song writing. It's nice to see Casey actually getting one of his side projects off the ground since he's had 2 or 3 never amount to anything in the past few years. Most notably one featuring Josh and Nick from Queens of the Stoneage, Shannon Larkin, and Twiggy Ramirez. There's bugs all over the game. I had that same thing happen to mine. I assume you're talking about PS2 because you mention memory cards, but mine was on Xbox. Luckily for me I was in the second game of a franchise when that started happening to me, so I just started a new franchise and had no problems after that. I don't know if there's any way to get around it.

Got the game yesterday and put in a few hours of multiplayer and some quick classic mode. I was liking the return of the classic goals, and have yet to see the Destruction tour really, but it sounds like a cool thing to mix in with them. I agree with you about the levels being too small. I was hoping they'd try and go bigger this time, it isn't really that huge a deal though. I thought it was strange that they went with less real skaters, I'm sure that almost everyone out there wants to be in the game. Soundtrack in this one sucks, I've got the Xbox version though so I just go custom. EDIT--I've just now realized they took out even more skaters than you mentioned. They took out Kareem Campbell and Elissa Streamer and maybe even more that I just didn't notice. Also, create a deck is gone. Even worse there are no longer Pro Movies, which have always been something I enjoyed and one of the few reasons to try and complete the game with multiple skaters.

I'm a big fan of the Dolls as well as the solo material from Johnny Thunders. Has anyone had a chance to see this new New York Dolls that are touring now? The guitarist filling in for Thunders was originally Izzy Stradlin of GNR, then it was Andy McCoy from Hanoi Rocks, but they both quit before they played. I'm not sure who's playing now.

I can't believe that's one of the few episodes I have missed. There is a lot of great stuff in there. The best part is when Jeff calls him a gay racecar driver and Lorenzo is like "You've been hanging around gay racecar drivers?" and he just goes "Touché Lorenzo" It's still not the greatest 15 minutes in television, although that too did occur on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show. It was when Mike Tyson cohosted and sang to the Dorito's girl. Actually that whole week Tyson was there was all good stuff.

I thought Die Dead Enough was a great single. Unfortunately it ended up being my favorite song on the CD. The CD was weird for me in that it sounded a lot better the first time I heard than it did each time after. Back in the Day is the other song after Die Dead Enough on the album that stands up to a lot of listens.

There are about 100 Tommy articles a day the past 2 weeks. This is the first I've seen this one and it is definitely the best. This is the first time I've heard any mention of the term "final mixes" regarding Chinese Democracy. I don't know about the part where it says "mostly long and epic" songs. I was hoping for and expecting a couple, but I think that the less he tries to do it the more powerful the long and epic songs will be. More focused than the Illusions sounds good. Things are starting to sound good these days.

There are a ton of different bands that I would've voted for had they made the list, none of them were on there though. I think that the bands that consistantly made the best music in the decade were Metallica, Megadeth, Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Slayer, and a few other bands were pretty good as well.

Mastodon who were awesome when I saw them with Clutch. I'm going to see the tour hopefully.

I like Danzig a lot as a singer, but I found this really funny. Basically, Danzig had some show scheduled where there are a bunch of bands. Danzig's sound crew showed up several hours late, so the show was pushed back. Danzig was originally supposed to play at 10 but the show started late. Danzig decides that he should still play at 10 and the other bands can go on after him if they really want to. Danzig's crew ends up taking everything down after his set. All the other bands are pissed and some fat guy from one band decides to go and confront him about it. The big fat guy's just saying they can't play because they're taking down all the stuff already and everyone is disappointed and Danzig just flips out. "FUCK YOU MOTHERFUCKER" and throws him for pretty much no reason. What was he thinking? I thought Danzig was a martial arts expert, shouldnt he have been able to block it? The reactions from the Danzig fans are funny as hell.

I vote for Randy Johnson, Ichiro has a good case though. The fact that Johnson leads the majors in strikeouts and ERA, probably the two most important stats for a pitcher puts him over. It's amazing that he's only .500 for the year.
