All the conditioning involved in football is crazy, even if you were just going to try and be on the practice squad for a week. Even if you think you're in good shape, after the first few days your body will probably end up being super sore. It took me a while to get used to the physicality again after trying to return to high school football after 2 years. I can't imagine what it would be like to step into college football without any experience.

I thought the show was actually pretty good, it got annoying at times though. My main problem with the show is that DJ always seemed like he had no purpose. He mostly just sat there and didn't say anything, then when he did it always seemed so out of place. Sometimes I think the only reason they kept him around was so they could devote that one entire episode to him masturbating.

I made the varsity team in high school as a freshman and was the only freshman on the whole team. Our star running back got injured at the end of season leaving me to start the final 2 games and the first playoff game. I went 100+ each game and totaled 5 TDs. I was going into the next season as the starter, but got injured in the off season and had to miss the whole year, then spent the better part of the following year in Europe. I tried to return to playing senior year but wasn't the same after the leg injuries and the full two years off.

I don't really understand their selection of bands on the disc, there are plenty of bigger, somewhat known bands that I know would be willing to play on there. I like Dillenger Escape Plan and I've heard a couple other bands on there, but I'm not really interested.

Top 50 SNLs on Com. Central
jimmy no nose replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in Television & Film
It doesn't make sense that they call them the top 50 of all time since it pretty much starts at 1991 and it's the same episodes they play every day. There are probably only 50 episodes they play on Comedy Central. -
The big deal with it is that a school is only allowed to give out so many scholarships and only want to give a certain number to people at each position. The guy verbally commits and the team goes on to stop seeking out guys at the position because they won't have room for both if two guys commit. The kid committed months ago and now that everyone is pretty much decided they are left without a replacement for him.

I think voting for the Heisman would have been a lot different had they already known White would be back for a sixth season of eligibility. It's also likely that Larry Fitzgerald will not return to Pitt for his third year because he has some what of a loophole having done a voluntary extra year of high school at a military academy. Heisman voters tend to not want the guy to be back the following year to defend his title, so I think it would have been a very different situation.

Whenever I play a Quicktime video I get weird problems. Sometimes when it plays inside internet explorer it just shows a white screen and plays the audio. When I play them in the Quicktime player it shows the video for a second, then it brings up some error box and gives you the option to continue or close. When you click continue it turns the picture all white and just plays the audio. I have no idea what's wrong with it. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, made sure I have all the most up to date stuff and every thing, but it just won't work right. Does anyone know what's wrong?

I've been to luxury boxes several different times, my mom used to work for a big time law firm and they had boxes everywhere. I used to go to WWF shows at the Mellon Arena all the time and they'd always have tons cans of soda and snacks like chips and pretzels and stuff for free. Also there was a guy who was always there who'd order chicken and pizza and let everyone else eat it, I'm sure he paid a lot of money for it though. At the Steelers games at old Three Rivers Stadium they always had drinks and snacks, but they also had other foods too. They usually had some sandwiches and hoagies and stuff in there for free and some times there would be other small items.

I had no problem with the cell phone thing. The guy scored 4 TDs, that's ridiculous. I always say if you don't want the guy to celebrate then don't let him score.

Well I've passed 17 years ago, but this is stupid any way. Kids can still just get some one of the age to buy it for them. It could be any one, a parent who doesn't care/doesn't know better, a sibling, a friend, or just some random they find in the store.

Married... With Children: It's a Bundyful Life
jimmy no nose replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in Television & Film
That is actually one of my top 3 favorite episodes ever. I'll be sure to tune in tonight, I hadn't heard of this until now, thanks. -
I had been a huge Turbonegro fan for years, but haven't really listened to them for a whole year now. I started listening to the old albums again a few weeks ago and now I picked up the new Scandanavian Leather last week and I've been really into them again now. The new CD is no Ass Cobra or Apocolypse Dudes, but it's still pretty good.

What exactly is the deal with this? It doesnt say much on the page, why are they giving away free subscriptions?

They were supposed to do that show at my old high school this year, but then the day everyone was supposed to audition and hundreds of people showed up after school the principal decided that they didn't want cameras in the school and cancelled everything. I don't really care, but it would have been funny if they had done it a few years ago when I went there.

Alright so my little cousin is 17 and Saturday night he was drinking with his friends. He goes to drive home at about 10:30, he runs a stop sign, and nails a car into a yard, the car almost hit a house. Being drunk and 17 he decides that driving away is the best idea. Luckily no one was hurt. The cops caught him just a few minutes later and he had to take one of those breathing tests. He blew a .03, for a juvenile in drunk driving cases .02 is the highest you can be without getting in trouble. He had to take a blood test about 2 hours later and he seems to think that his test will come back below .02 and he'll get out of the DUI charge. He'd still be left with the underage drinking, running the stop sign, hit and run, plus whatever he has to pay for the person's car and the other person's yard. Personally I think he should get the DUI charge, but my question is does anyone know if the blood test would some how drop down below the .03 a couple of hours later? I thought the blood tests were supposed to be able to detect it for a longer period of time, so it would still come back about the same. Does anyone know about this?

I don't think he even hit the car because he was drinking, he's just a really bad driver and it's a tough street, plus it was snowing and possibly icy. Either way, it didn't help that he was drunk. He has no idea how he's going to pay the crazy amounts of money it would be without the DUI charge, because his parents aren't planning on helping him out on it. Losing his liscense isn't even that big a deal now, I don't think he was planning on ever even leaving his house until he's 18 any way. His mom is a pretty insane woman who flips out about really little stuff and I have no idea how crazy she got after this. If he just left his insurance info with the other guy he probably could have gotten out of every thing.

NCAA March Madness '04 vs. ESPN College Hoops
jimmy no nose replied to KingPK's topic in Video Games
If you already have the ESPN NBA game then you should definitely get March Madness. The problem with Sega's sports is that their college games are the same as the pro games, just with different teams. EA tend to change the gameplay to focus more on the way college ball is played. -
I'm thinking what took them so long to sue was they were waiting for the game to sell a lot of copies. By now pretty much everyone who wants the game has it, so they chose to sue now. You can't sue for a part of the profits when there are no profits yet, so they wait until they feel like they maximized profit.

I can only get to 522.875, I've been in the 520 area for about 10 tries in a row now.

I used to play Fire Pro D on Dreamcast all the time. I started playing Giant Gram instead recently, I'll probably go back some time though.

Pretty good list, I think most of them deserve to be in the top 100, the order is a little off though. Did I see Death in there twice? Wasn't expecting that, definitely deserved though. The whole 3 Maiden albums in the top 7 thing seems wrong to me, maybe all three in the top 20. I don't think Slayer's Seasons in the Abyss should be top 10, but it should stay in there somewhere and I like Reign in Blood at #5. Appetite for Destruction should be top 10 easily, it's among my all time favorite albums. My problem with this list is way too much Judas Priest. I was never a big fan.

Larry Fitzgerald kept the TD streak going despite being invisible all game. I think this game loses him the Heisman.

My avatar is from the movie Haggard. It's by Bam Margera from Jackass/CKY. I stole the avatar from some other board.

Why don't Pitt throw the ball to Fitzgerald? The ball hasnt even gone in his direction. Most of his big games have been pretty much all one half though, so there's still hope that this game will be tight by the end.
