Can's Tago Mago finally arrived and after having listened to it I'm just about speechless. Just... wow. It feels like a handgrenade has exploded inside my head (and I mean that in a good way).

Escape from New York - Special Edition

This is from WCW, but bear with me. At a Clash (the one after BatB'94) Hogan and Flair are brawling outside the ring and out of the blue some old lady in the crowd suddenly hits Hogan over the head with her cane. Hogan gets a hilarious "what the fuck" expression on his face and tries to grab the cane from her, but she refuses to let go of it. Had me laughing like crazy for a good 15 minutes back in the day.

Quiz 1: Points: 30 Our experts are please to report that you are a tolerable, if not pleasant. You should be proud of your annoyance rating (unless you lied on your quiz, then you're a complete bastard!) Time Spent: 1:9 Quiz 2: Your total score is: 72 Annoying Although you could have scored worse, our experts have pinned you as being "annoying." This is nothing to worry about, but if you want people to stop making faces behind your back, it would be best if you consider some adjustments in your life. Quiz 3: Points: 41 According to test results, you've been branded "not annoying." But don't celebrate yet, this also means that you have no personality. Cheers! Time Spent: 2:50 This makes no sense...

The last album I bought was Mambo Sinuendo by Ry Cooder and Manuel Galban. Within the next week I'll probably order me some Can and Popol Vuh (I'm thinking about getting Tago Mago and Einsjager und Siebenjager, any recommendations?).

I'll add myself to the "if anyone would be willing to PM me a link I would be very grateful" crowd.

I picked up Paul Schrader's version of Cat People yesterday. Actually much better than I expected. The script bordered on the ridiculous but Schrader somehow managed to make it work, and the production design and camerawork were off the fucking charts.

What were your favorite bloopers / fluck-ups
ArkhamGlobe replied to Lil' Bitch's topic in Television & Film
There's a scene in the Boogey Man where the boom mic is hanging right in the middle of the frame, plainly visible for anyone with a functioning pair of eyes. -
Haven't posted one of these in a while... The Kinks edition: 5. Starstruck 4. No Return 3. Waterloo Sunset 2. Till the End of the Day 1. Victoria

I haven't listened nearly as much to either as I'd like, but for innovation and the like I'd go with Davis in a heartbeat (it may also have something to do with the fact that I much prefer jazz to country).

To me, the pre-credit sequence in Goldfinger is probably THE defining moment in any Bond film.

Tough one. For me it's really close between "Highway 61 Revisited" and "Blood on the Tracks" and my vote could change instantly, but I picked "Blood on the Tracks". Tangled Up in Blue settled it.
