Ah crud, I was saving that one. Why do I still underestimate the love for the teen dramas? I was WAY too into the Dawson, Pacey, Joey love triangle in Season 3. Go Pacey! By the way, I actually met Josh Jackson on a movie set. I had to fight the urge to yell out "Pacey!". It's just not professional. Mmm, pre-Cruise Katie Holmes.

That 70's Show Very funny and entertaining...well, at least the early seasons were. Good enough for me. Love the characters. They're just very relatable...no matter the decade.

12 hours have passed...mw679 can make his pick

The Amazing Race If I'm stuck on a desert island, I'm gonna want to see the rest of the world... Pretty much the only "reality show" I can stand.
-
Tiny picture... With my next pick, I choose: Shawn Michaels vs. Diesel - WWF World Title - No Holds Barred - WWF In Your House: Good Friends, Better Enemies - April 28, 1996 I wanted some more HBK but this time pre-back injury. Great match with memorable spots (the table, Mad Dog Vachon's leg). I was really digging "Cocky Bad Ass" Diesel during this time.

But I want 'em all! *pouts*

Damn you, Ravenbomb!!! That was one of my three possible next picks.

Couldn't find a big enough pic of the match itself but this pic says it all... With my next pick, I choose: Bret "Hitman" Hart vs. Chris Benoit - Owen Hart Tribute Match - WCW Monday Nitro - October 4, 1999 Just a deeply emotional match. Bret wrestling for his brother in the very same arena where he tragically died. Harley Race doing personal introductions was a nice touch. Bret looking up and waving goodbye after the match was a very touching moment. The match wasn't half-bad either

Time for me to dumb it down a bit: Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy With the Apatow films already going, I thought I should get this one while it's still on table. Yes, it's not an Apatow directed flick, but it's part of the "Frat Pack" universe. I was literally in tears laughing while watching this one in theaters. Ultra-quotable, too.

Let's Talk About...The New Blood/Millionaires Club angle
Jebus replied to King Kamala's topic in General Wrestling
I was gonna mention veteran Bret Hart being the face of the New Generation. He wasn't young but it was still fairly NEW. It was so bad in WCW 2000 that any of 50+ wrestlers that weren't "Millionaire's Club" would've been considered something new. -
That is THE one movie I've heard the most diverse opinions on. I still haven't seen it. I don't mind the schmaltzy stuff so much so I probably wouldn't hate it as much as others.

Let's Talk About...The New Blood/Millionaires Club angle

I see your point but I just think Millionaire's Club vs. New Blood was more than young vs. old or new vs. old. It was tired old main eventers vs. hungry guys ready to break through the glass ceiling. I think Bagwell fit the latter. Booker T is another good example of someone who definitely wasn't new but still fit in with the rebel group. The odd guys out to me were dudes like Hennig, Bigelow or the Steiners. Proven commodities that still didn't fit in with the Millionaires. It was weird though. Basically, if you weren't main event, you were New Blood. But there were plenty of shades of grey you could argue about: Steiner, Douglas, Bagwell, Booker, even Jarrett. -
Not much longer...trust me. Back to the drawing board...

Chasing Amy I'm a Kevin Smith fanboy and this one is my favorite of his films.

Diesel got built up big time in 1994. I had no problem with him becoming champ at the end of the year. History has not been kind to his reign (with good reason) but I don't agree with all the "What was the WWF thinking?" talk. By November 1994, Diesel was the man. The main problem was that he won the title, lost his bad ass aura and had a terrible long reign. I went to my first WWF house show in October 1994 and Diesel got the biggest pop. A heel got the biggest pop! Bret, Taker & Razor were also on the card. But Diesel got a "Goldberg" type reaction. By that I mean, his opponent was Headshrinker Seone and we knew Diesel was gonna DESTROY him so there was no point in sitting down. Let's all just chant "Diesel" for the 4 minutes this is gonna last. THAT guy should've been champ...not Smiley McHappy Diesel.

I thought O'Haire & Palumbo were the two best guys the NBT had. Apparantly, WCW felt the same way. Loved them as tag champs during 2001 WCW. No knock on Jindrak but I feel O'Haire had more chemistry with Palumbo...better matches as a team anyway. Where else was Bagwell gonna go? He wasn't one of the same old, same old WCW main eventers that comprised the Millionaire's Club. Still in his early 30's. Just cause he'd been around since he was basically a kid doesn't mean he wasn't one of the ones under the "glass ceiling". Hell, just months before, he was leading Benoit, Malenko and Saturn against the old guys until Douglas came in. -
Good one, Franchise. That was one of my finalists too.

There it is. On my last pick, I was contemplating between The O.C. and B&B. I must really like that first season of The O.C. Back to the drawing board...
-
I swear I already had this match in mind for my next pick even before Al took the 1987 version... With my next pick, I choose: Powers of Pain, British Bulldogs, The Rockers, Hart Foundation & Young Stallions vs. Demolition, The Conquistadors, Brain Busters, Fabulous Rougeau Brothers & The Bolsheviks - WWF Survivor Series 1988 - November 24, 1988 My favorite "Survivor Series" elimination match.
-
Once again...NO POSTERS FROM IMPAWARDS.COM!

Yeah, TV movies are eligible. Make sure it wasn't actually a mini-series.
-
The O.C. I only saw the first season and half of season two. Season 1 was good enough for me to want this series on my island...and there will be no one there to question my manliness
-
With my next pick, I choose: Bret "Hitman" Hart vs. 1-2-3 Kid - WWF Monday Night RAW - July 1, 1994 (aired July 11, 1994) Kid pushes Bret to the limit in an excellent 25 minute bout. I love these underdog championship matches.
