Whoo...pumping my team up by adding Najeh Davenport over Larry Centers, David Givens over Ahmad Merritt and Phil Dawson over Matt Bryant
-
Well, if I get Voshon Lenard on the 22nd, he'll give me 14.3 PPG or so which shall help me out tremendously since Richardson's gotten suspended
-
Lebron will likely help out a lot on boards/assists more so then points, I'd expect about this ratio over the season - 9.2 PPG, 6.7 RPG, 7.7 APG, 0.6 SPG, 0.2 BPG
-
Whoo...check out my team's "PPG" ratio, yet again I'm Mr. Consistency(or Mr. Average depending on your take) Jason Williams: 12 PPG Shane Battier: 9.7 PPG Shawn Marion: 21.2 PPG Troy Murphy: 11.7 PPG Theo Ratliff: 8.7 PPG Nene Hilario: 10.5 PPG Jason Richardson: 15.6 PPG Tony Battie: 7.3 PPG
-
Yeah, so guys who are suspended(Richardson, Webber) can't go on the IR as far as I know
-
Just a FYI..kinda interesting stats Tony Battie: 7.3 PPG(67 Games) Paul Pierce: 26 PPG(79 Games) Eric Williams: 9 PPG(82 Games) Vin Baker: 5.1 PPG(52 Games) Walter McCarty: 6 PPG(82 Games) Also I'm pretty high on Kendrick Brown and think he could help out quite a bit on the scoring front(9-13 PPG). Also Jumaine Jones averaged 9.8 PPG in 80 Games so when he comes back, he could be good for 10-15 PPG). Raef Lafrentz had 9.2 PPG in only 69 Games and should see that go up somewhat.
-
I think 3 IR's a bit too much, if need be they could just keep a 3rd injured guy on the bench
-
2G, 2F, C, U, 3B, 3 IR
-
fucking hell...damn you Richardson!! thankfully I got Battier on the bench to cover
-
Good deal IMO as it allows Baker/Lafrentz to battle it out over who'll start the PF Spot assuming Battie stays at Center or Battie/Lafrentz can battle over Center with Baker taking the PF spot Possible Starting Lineup now PG: Marcus Banks(Backup being the other new guy that I suddenly can't remember) SG: Paul Pierce(Chris Mills could battle here, decent 3 PT shooter) SF: Eric Williams(Jumaine Jones could be here upon his return) PF: Vin Baker(Jiri Welsh or Walter McCarty probably as the backup here) C: Raef Lafrentz(Tony Battie coming in off the bench) Our lineup has good size in terms of battling the boards and IMO, Baker's more well rounded then Walker and can do just as well/if not better starting rather then coming off the bench. We still have Pierce who's good for 30/6 or so and Raef gives us a better presence in the circle. Now we actually have a guy who'll play the post in Baker and Raef'll likely be a formidable defensive opponent manning the circle.

Go to the draft results page Mistah J...BTW, I'm seriously fucking loving the sig. pic with Joker knocking over the chess piece Batman

Looks like ya got my team right chief
-
Damnit...knew I would mix one of 'em up

Gotcha beat. High school baseball. Team didn't win a game all season (seldom did we come close). Had a home run ruled foul (complete screw job there) and, then in the top of the next inning, took a line drive off of the chest. Never did try to pitch again after that. -=Mike Jesus...did you manage to stay in the game after the chest shot? Damn that must've been hella scary knowing you can't do a damn thing with a ball flying at you over 90+ MPH

No love for the Orange Crush of Miami or Doomsday Defense of Dallas? Booo...

I meant more on the ugliness though...whoo!! Reply #1,000 to the thread

For god's sake 1inch use punctuation and spelling! GAH! Just trying to read your typing is enough to make my IQ dribble to that of an infant. For being a "journalist" you sure don't show that on the board.
-
Blech....right now I'm 8-5, Go KC so I can finish a respectable 9-5 on the week!
-
Wowz...nobody took Popeye Jones, I'm utterly shocked as I thought Raz would give him a chance with Cassel and all
-
Bah..I heard Centers got cut by the Pats so he's gone which screwed my week up. Vin did fairly well and the Pats D was very solid for me. Onterrio Smith got me 29 yards but did get a TD so that's at least 6 points for me. Derrius Thompson got me 65 yards...decent. Schroader sucked ass for me, 1 catch for 26 yards, UGH! Joe Horn was huge for me, 133 yards and a TD which is good. As far as Toilet Ducks go, Johnson had a huge game for him with 130 yards and 1 TD. I figure I have this game won unless Garcia explodes or the Tampa D have a shutout with like 3 TD's
-
Yeah, but Battie will still get some minutes so it's not a total wash
-
Bah... - Williams will be getting double-doubles in assists and points - Banks will be pulling out assists hopefully - Richardson will be getting me points - Battier can get me double-doubles in points and boards - Marion can get me double-doubles in points and boards and the occasional triple-double - Murphy: See Marion - Hilario's good for 6-7 boards per game and with Melo there, capable of 10+ points per game - Ratliff only led the league in blocks last year, capable of getting double-doubles in points and boards with the 3-7 blocks per game - Battie is good for 4-6 boards per game and 8-16 points per game..if he starts There...only category I'm worried about is steals but I'm not that worried
-
NHL: The Bruins Collapse last year...they started out so red hot(42-19 or something insane like that) and just...disappeared off the face of the earth. NBA: The Nets just killing the Celtics in the playoffs last year, Kidd pulling triple-doubles out like fairy dust. MLB: Aaron Fucking Boone... NFL: Getting slaughtered by the Packers in the 96' Super Bowl with Bledsoe at the helm and a solid running game in Curtis Martin
-
Harley: The Gotham Harlequins are proud to announce Center Tony Battie of the Boston Celtics as their final selection. The Gotham Harlequins PG: Jason Williams PG: Marcus Banks SG: Jason Richardson G/F: Shane Battier SF: Shawn Marion PF: Troy Murphy F/C: Nene Hilario C: Theo Ratliff C: Tony Battie I'm telling ya'll, FEAR MY TEAM!

I went 4-1 in the differing picks so does that mean I won my game? *jigs*
