You can give me one. It's always been my dream to no-show a world title match.

Just as long as I'm not required to hang around Chubo or listen to drunken emo whining.
-
Whoops. But I've certainly run through it enough times anyway.

I don't think Chavo is nearly charismatic enough to turn the crowd against Rey.

Hm... I guess it'll be like Inuyasha to me, so I'll pass for the time being and get it later. As for what you should pick up next, I recommend the following: Ouran Host Club Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Shakugan no Shana I was the one discussing Melancholy earlier, creep. In any case, I'll probably go with Shana, Black Lagoon, and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni or Jigoku Shoujo next. And anything in an anime HOF, whether it be shows or characters, should at least be a few years old. Sure, something like Melancholy of Haruhi made a splash, but we don't know about its long term impact or influence.

Captain Harlock. Lum. Goku. Sailor Moon. Shin Chan (Crayon Shin Chan). Sazae (Sazae San). Doraemon. Detective Conan. Mazinger Z. Shinji Ikari... sadly.

With Naruto you may as well just skip the first twenty or so episodes along with the filler (with some exceptions), which leaves around a hundred episodes. In any case, right now is as good of time as any to catch up with fillers coming to an end soon, but then again, I've been wrong on that before. I'm unsure of what to pick up on next. I've just been out of the loop until recently with most of my exposure coming from TV, so I have a lot to catch up on. Milage on s-CRY-ed varies. I like it a lot and don't find the characters annoying, but the cheese factor is pretty high.

Ouch. I hope they were delighted with what they eventually got.

If I had a title, I would so job it to Spike again to set up an angle, only to have it go nowhere.

This is pretty awful even by Raw's standards.

I get more of a CronoT vibe.

Blank vs. Akira in a Catch As Catch Can Match. Book it.

That's what I said!

E3 cancelled for next year... AND BEYOND!
Golgo 13 replied to Open the Muggy Gate's topic in Video Games
I like the atmosphere and excitement that E3 brings and it's been going on for a while, so it kinda sucks. It's not an irreplaceable forum, though, especially with numerous already existing options to turn to, not to mention the possibility of going back to independant shows like SpaceWorld. -
I've said that before about someone else. Thought so. It seemed familiar afterward, I just couldn't remember who zinged who.

I'm like the old substitute punishment match come to life.

Haiku? I thought there was some sort of rule on the format of the matches? I mean they all look pretty uniform to me. As Toxxic said, matches like these usually come about under duress or because of apathy. There are no rules in how a match should be written anyway, just don't expect to win when your opponent turns in a real effort. Consensus states that anything is better than a double no-show, even a squash, or an Extreme Warfare copy pasta, or a one-line gem like "The ring collapses and I win," etc. Some even make a career out of it... *cough*

Rick_JamesB1tch is overly enthusiastic in trying to make an impression and is like a spam e-mail, but otherwise I have no problems.

Yeah just imagine that being the way you die or something. Nothing could be more shaming... except maybe like having heart attack while fucking a blow up doll. There's always the death by autoerotic asphyxiation standard.

Yeah. I'm him. I can't remember the last time I wrote a full length match, so good luck with that. The best you'll get lately is the match versus Kaibatsu or a MANSONosity rushjob.

Bleach is a Shonen Jump production, so that should probably be a good indicator of whether you'd like it or not. Basically a lot of swords and blood with some good comedy mixed in, it sometimes falls into the pitfalls and conventions of other prototypical action series, but is unique enough to stand out. It also takes a while to really get going. The closest comparison I can come up with is Yu Yu Hakusho with swordplay.

I dug Brandy Davis, Susan Featherly and Jacqueline Lovell.

What was Terkay's gimmick? I thought I read something about him coming in as a Brody clone, or is he just MMA guy now?

You could start with episode 2, which is the proper beginning of the story, but I think it loses some of its luster by watching in chronological order. I feel it was meant to be watched in the order it aired, at least during the first time through, then viewed in storyline order on subsequent viewings. You shouldn't be put off. Episode 1 is great fun. The character interaction is some of the best and there's a bunch of stuff to pick through once you've made your way through the series, but I've said too much.

Haruhi is addictive, but there seem to be enough dissenting voices to put it into love/hate territory. Escaflowne's Fox rights have lapsed. If the dub wasn't so bad it would make a good addition to Adult Swim. Eh. Part of Bleach's English cast was announced. Johnny Yong Bosch as Ichigo. I'm not sure about that one.
