Lynn was around for a few weeks as one of the background guys on the WWF side. He even had a decent Heat match with RVD, in spite of it being edited to hell. Then he hurt his knee, had surgery, and was released, I think as the invasion was winding down.

I didn't like the teenagers in high school aspect of Evolution. It just seemed like a cheap hook largely capitalizing on the primetime drama trends at the time. It turned me off completely until I saw a few episodes sometime later, where they were all on the run, there was more action and it seemed like the high school stuff was written out. Meanwhile, the 90s X-Men stayed more true to the comics, while still adding their own spin to it. The voice acting and animation definitely doesn't hold up, but to me the accuracy there is more important than the gloss of Evolution.

I can only assume this is the article being referenced. I love ThunderCats, but I have a feeling this is gonna be awful. The Batman being cited as an example of the new look and the results of all these other recent cartoon remakes doesn't give me hope.

Spike was great when he wasn't pussy whipped by Buffy. I just don't see the need for a movie featuring him, or anything following up on Angel, for that matter. Unless it happens to be brilliant, and I don't see how anything can top the finale.

Eh. I don't really see how this is Darwin Award material. The girl from all accounts was as innocent in all this as the tiger was. She just wanted a fucking picture, it's not like she openly teased and taunted the tiger before it happened, ensuring that she would definitely get hurt (like the stunt show imitators, for instance, aka those who really deserve the Darwin distinction). Yeah, posing with an animal that isn't fit for domestication or interaction with hordes of people isn't wise, since we hear about these stories all the time. But for all anyone knew, the thing was as tame as a wild primal creature can be, and the handlers were there to presumably do their jobs and make sure nothing happened. The girl had no reason to believe she was anything but safe. The only thing I wish is that the animal had turned on its handlers, trainers, etc., instead of the girl.
