Hey, you jerks should come to chat.

I don't know why I said Earl Hebner. Probably because Jake did so first, so it's his fault.

"Return of the Mack" is a strange choice for funny/humiliating songs, but I was running low on ideas. And due to Zed's request for the next time I wrote one of these, I did include Nazis with melting faces... ---- Andrea comes down to the ring to Mark Morrison's "Return of the Mack" Jamie Drazon comes down to the ring to "It's Raining Men" Max King comes down to the ring to "YMCA" Manson comes down to the ring to "Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck" ::Ding Ding!:: As the competitors all look at each other, Manson instills fear in all of them, as they look into his eyes and see their own destructive end. They all see the black face of death itself. Andrea hops out of the ring, not wanting to face the awesome might of Manson. Maz King has long since bolted. He's a pussy. Jamie is the only one to stay in the ring, first frozen in his tracks, then meekly coming out to the center of the ring. Manson does the same, as Manson PUNCHES A HOLE IN DRAZON'S CHEST AND PULLS OUT HIS FUCKING HEART! JESUS CHRIST! "(Funyon) FATALITY~!" "(Riley) LOLLERCOPTER!" "(Comet) It appears JD has just fallen to MANSONOSITY POWER~!" Andrea's eyes fall out, of course, as Manson covers the corpse of JD. "ONE!" "TWOOO!" "THREEEEEE!" ::DING DING:: "(Funyon) YOUR WINNER BY FATALITY, AND NEW NUMBAH ONE CONTENDER TO THE ICTV TITLE, MMMAAAAAAAANNNNNSSSSOOOOOONNNN!" Manson celebrates his win, standing tall over the bodies of those who oppose him, as suddenly, A TROUPE OF NAZIS EMERGE FROM THE BACK! MANSON LOOKS AT THEM, CHORTLES, AND SUDDENLY THE NAZIS' FACES BOIL AND MELT! MANSON CELEBRATES HIS AWESOME POWERS OF MANSONOSITY, AS THE CROWD CLAPS AND CHANTS, OUT OF FEAR THEY'LL ALL BE SENT TO THE CORN FIELD… "(Comet) What the fuck, man…" --- Addendum: Max King was found later, having been turned into a Jack-in-the-Box.

Nick Soapdish Earl Hebner Sexton Hardcastle Eddy Long Matt Kivell Anthony Michael Hall These are all the refs that come to mind. Yes, Hall is the guy from The Breakfast Club. In my experience, all serve as your standard ref, only there to enforce the rules and try not to get in the way too much, however Long and Hardcastle have served as partisan heel refs before.

I've caught nearly every Impact, but Jeff Hammond is starting to bug me. Who is this dipshit and why is he involved with TNA? Thankfully he's not involved in the entire show.

Danny Tanner?

Dynamite Kid, also. Well, it's assumed Acclaim wouldn't be making it anyway, since WWE's big deal is with Yukes, and WWE knows personally how shitty Acclaim can be. As for the PS3, it's rumored to first shown at next year's E3, with a possible Japan release later in the year, and maybe a US release shortly after in time for the holiday season. Don't quote me on that, though.

Final Roster for PS2's WWE SmackDown vs. RAW
Golgo 13 replied to David Blazenwing's topic in Video Games
People ALWAYS complain about the roster, every year, no matter what. This is par for the course. Although I don't consider what I said "complaining" or "getting all bent out of shape" despite the excessive use of cursing, which I just noticed. Visit the GameFAQs boards if you want to see real complaining. Also, it's not about game versus game comparisons. It's a moot point, considering the amount of turnover from year to year. Frankly, the disturbing thing is the noticable problem with Yuke's priorities, with the sudden drop off of 13 or so wrestlers due to so-called "improvements." To me, it's about who deserves to be in the game and who doesn't. La Resistance have been tag team champions for how long now? When was the last time Cade was on Raw? When were people clamoring for fucking Brutus Beefcake? There's just no excuse in some of these guy's cases. -
And Matt was supposed to come in to beat Chavo Jr., but was injured, so we got the Jackie reign instead.
-
Oh, Spike is still an underdog. His ass is kicked all the time. He would be beaten every match and wouldn't have the title were it not for D-Von and Bubba protecting him. He's the cocky, scrawny classmate or neighbordood kid who thought he was hot shit and would be a dick because he had bigger friends/brothers to protect him. That should really be the focus, not Spike bossing D-Von and Bubba around, and them being content with it, because that aspect just doesn't make sense.

Oh, yeah. The laser show opening blows. The B&W opening fits much better with the show, the graphics, the theme, everything. I much preferred the original set to the fist set. Bring that shit back for the anniversary, redesigned, and mix it with stuff from the newer format, like the graphics and the ring. As for Raw, I'd have preferred they just keep the steel girder look with the side trons included, updated once every couple years. And please, get a new theme song.

I'm under the impression GenCon is mainly card and RPG games, though.
-
The jury is still out on whether Spike is credible, when it comes to being a heel or being a champion. I'm enjoying it, though, and it is a change of pace from the typical Dudleys story.

I would love a WWE-licensed "Legends" game. Say what you will about Yukes, provided they develop it, but at least it would be better than Acclaim's efforts. I don't think there would be a problem with it NOW, since Acclaim is basically hanging by a thread and, I believe, Showdown was the last of the series for the time being. The problem lies with which wrestlers would agree to it, since a lot of them have heat with Vince/WWE, and the game would be put out under that name.

Final Roster for PS2's WWE SmackDown vs. RAW
Golgo 13 replied to David Blazenwing's topic in Video Games
While there will ALWAYS be omissions no matter what, I will hold blame over the legends roster for there not being more of the current roster. I'd much rather have wrestlers in the game who have every right to be rather than wrestlers who are a distant memory, have no current association, etc. While it's a nice bonus and I don't necessarily mind guys like DiBiase, Snuka, Piper, Hart, Giant, etc, there are some extremely worthless fucks who aren't even in the same class as the above, and you have to question why the fuck their spot isn't going toward the fucking brand champions or those who have been in WWE for a few years running now (Noble), but still can't get in a game. And yes, while some guys can be said to be alike with no play value, other wrestlers like Noble, London, Hurricane and Kidman are different enough from the roster that it's worth playing through with them at least once. -

I was thinking about the legends, and in addition to Rock, I wouldn't be surprised to see Austin show up either. -
IGN: Another goodie tied to the weight class system is the attribute cap for created wrestlers. If your wrestler is diva or cruiser weight, for instance, their limit for strength and durability may not be as high as a wrestler of the super heavyweight class. On that same token, however, the super heavyweight wrestler isn't going to be very fast and will have a limit on his speed and technique attributes. These slight adjustments to the creation process should help keep wrestlers of varying sizes and shapes a little more unique and should also help encourage players to try grapplers of different sizes for different results. As for the rest of the Create-A-Superstar details, though, we'll save that for another day. Oh, yeah. I did read that, but didn't think much of it or just plain forgot. It isn't as bad as I thought it would be, and it does make sense. However, these are the same guys who made Legend Taker nearly perfect in every category last time out, and chances are they'll once again eschew these limits when it comes to their own guys.
-
A stat limit for CAWs? I probably missed it, but where did you hear that? If it's true, and if it's what I'm imagining, fuck this game. I wasn't happy with the (in my mind, worthless) upgrades before, but that's the nail in the coffin. Or at the very least, if you're gonna do that, make them available from the start so we won't have to waste our time making a CAW that will likely end up on the same level as fucking Mark Jindrak.

The DS intrigues me more and if I had to choose, that would be the one to get, however I'm not likely to get either.
