Ground Zero word count thread~!
Golgo 13 replied to The Ill One's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
I've been sitting at 2000 for the past couple days, due to procrastinating, of course. It's gonna take a lot of work today to finish this. I'm currently taking odds on whether I can write 5000-8000 words today in order to have this match go like I originally wanted, much less make it presentable. -
They should make a figure modeled after Tubgirl.

You don't need to go through all that. Just delete your cookies (and history, just to be on the safe side) after the trial expires. I've signed up for multiple trial accounts on just this one computer.

I'll go with WWF Attitude, as far as wrestling games go. WWF War Zone could be forgiven a little, but there was just no excuse for Attitude. Or for that matter, any of Acclaim's wrestling games after that. Hell, cross "wrestling" from that sentence, since Acclaim sucks the meat missle altogether. Aside from the novelty of legends, I don't know why people pinned their hopes on the LoW series. I don't get why WM X-8 was a disappointment, simply because I didn't think there was that much expectation to begin with. Just because it was on the Gamecube didn't mean it was going to be the successor to the N64's No Mercy. WM 19, on the other hand, could be counted. Gameplay was improved a bit, but that idiotic Revenge Mode broke it. As far as biggest disappointment ever, I'll go with Piss' mention of Daikatana.

I shall start later today. Don't forget to grab my stats update, Icon.

MacFarlane was great, especially when relating Paris Hilton to a grasshopper or his tolerance spiel at the end of the ep.

Aww. You see what you guys did -
DS is always a possibility. Basically, I was clicking around on IGN a couple months ago, looking for info on the series. I saw the Mother 1+2 re-release, and Mother 3, but all were listed under the GBA category, which is the same thing I saw when I went back today.
-
Isn't this just for the GBA though?

7/21 SWF Lockdown HOLT Report

Mansonosity is taking over. -
Basically. At that point, I was in a mad rush to finish, and was pulling whatever I could out of my ass with no attention to detail. As always, thanks for comments, Dace.

I had something here before about grabbing both pre and post-opening video package promo slots. Well, nevermind. I'll grab the pre-opening slot only. Not even worth calling, really, but just stating it for the record so no one else writes something for that slot.

3. Angel Grace Blue is the 'troll' name of JSP, webmaster of 665, a site which GOdrea is a fan of. 4. He didn't make one appearance, unless he was posting under an alias for the duration his character was involved, but I highly doubt it. 8. As already stated, Shadow, the head of SCW, got banned. I seem to recall the OAOAST invading and taking over the dead forum, until eventually they were given one of their own, but I'm not exactly sure and this bit of information isn't terribly relevant anyway. 13. It was never stated by either one, I don't think. But in some non sequitur comment in chat a few weeks ago, Spike said the crap between he and Thor was a work.

I know it's not finalized, but looking at the roster from the PSM article, it lists two Kanes. I have to say, that's so completely stupid and is really fucking unnecessary.

What are you talking about? He added a hat to his dance routine! A HAT!

If we're thinking of the same one (but then, how many movies can there be with doggie door escape attempts). The chick's name is Shannon Whirry, and after checking at IMDB, the movie is most likely called Private Obsession.
-
Good. It's about time.
-
Huh. I should be cursing up a storm, but I know not to expect anything better from WB, with the rare exception... I already know which movie I'm not gonna see.
-
That would be Thoth, I believe.
-
Although the frequency of doing so was far less than it is now.

One of the mods/admins/whoever needs to place the spoiler disclaimer at the top of the appropiate folders again.

The Invasion should have easily written itself. The angle recovered well enough from the disasterous first night, and it was very salvagable, even without the big WCW names, until the night Steph was brought into the picture. It started off well enough, with the ECW reformation, who could have served the nWo purpose well... but of course, it all went to hell later. It turned into any old WWF stable with Test, Austin, Angle, Christian, etc. joining. There was also WCW and later the Alliance looking second-rate. From Booker literally never getting one up on Rock and losing the belt, to DDP being booked as a jobber, to Booker deferring leadership to Angle and Austin later. Just terrible. What I truly don't get was Vince unwilling to buy out contracts and sign people for the Invasion, but right after the Invasion ended he picked up Flair, and a few months after that shelled out money for Hogan, Nash and Hall. As for the nWo... that angle was pretty well over when Rock walked out with a limp and taped ribs weeks after Hogan attempted to, well, kill him. It didn't even get as far as the Invasion before looking like a joke.

The One and Only Angel Season 5 Thread
Golgo 13 replied to Steve J. Rogers's topic in Brandon Truitt
Not to mention Lorne. He went in thinking he had a dream job, and as early as Life of the Party we saw him being mentally and physically worn down by Wolfram and Hart. By the end of the series, he was completely jaded, having to confront his own guilt in Fred's death, and being asked to do the impossible by Angel in taking a life by assassinating Lindsay. He left with nothing at all, and chances are, he regretted ever meeting AI.
