If its a serious injury, I'll write off Detroit to win the cup right now. Write off my fantasy team as well.. Hope he's not seriously hurt! I already have Nikolas Kronwall, Rob Blake, Marc-Andre Fleury (has been for the last 3 months), Rod Brind'Amour and Justin Williams all out for the year. EDIT: Found this on yahoo..

Zeppelin, Sabbath, Cream, Deep Purple... All sorts of 70's-esque shit I never listened to before.

Peter Forsberg is not coming back to the NHL. On Monday, Forsberg's agent Don Baizley has begun advising NHL teams that Forsberg doesn't have enough confidence in his wonky foot to commit to a return to the league this season.

I almost shit myself when Glen Murray nearly scored 50 goals in 02-03, since then he's been getting older and slower and more injury prone. I'd have to say that yes, he is still a valuable asset to the Boston Bruins, but I wouldn't solely rely on him to get the scoring punch going. Marco Sturm is a solid player and always has the potential to put up decent numbers, while Phil Kessel is an up and comer that comes to mind when I think of potential goal-scorers on the Bruins. While they still have a few things to tweak, I think they are only getting better.

HUGE deal for Ottawa. Two nice additions, as Commodore adds a lot of toughness and some edge to their PP, and Stillman is a nice feisty goal-scorer as well. This move adds to their already potent roster, sets up for maybe another trade before the deadline, all the while making some finishing touches to gear up for the playoffs.

So the Leafs beat the Red Wings? Well, just cancel the playoffs and award them the Stanley Cup now... Elsewhere, the Three Amigos in Ottawa combined for 15 POINTS against Montreal. JEEBUS!

'cause its the Canadiens, they always play well against the Canadiens. It never matters where either team are in the standings, they always have a good competitive game. Tough luck for Montreal tonight though, I thought Kovie was gonna pull it out, he tried. HUGE game Saturday night against the Sens!

2 awesome goals, including the winner, by Ovechkin tonight as well. Thats 44 and 45 on the year. I'd really like to see him go crazy and end up breaking the infamous 92. Anyone else think it's possible? (Oh - Montreal over Ottawa, so sweet)

Ah, disappointing loss yesterday but hopefully they'll bounce back this week with three important wins against the Ontario teams. Oh, and Halak was sent down today with Carey Price regaining the back-up gig to Jennifer Love Huet.
