The Eye rolling in at #2 is somewhat surprising, really..
-
Shit, 3 points...even better! Man, I'm loving the possibility that Montreal could be on top of the Eastern Conference by this time next week. But I don't wanna jinx it, it's been a longtime coming, I can't help but be excited. Anyways, tomorrow there's only one game on the schedule, a Super Bowl matinée with NYR @ MTL... (the Rangers lead the season series 2-0, taking out the Habs 4-1 in their last meeting as mentioned by redbaron51 above) Any predictions?
-
The Habs continue to win, which pleases and surprises me immensely. Now they're only within 4 points of the Sens, a team they face TWICE in the next week. The injuries in Ottawa are going to play a big role here. It's going to be interesting to see if Les Habitantes can keep the ball rolling. I don't think any other team has been on top of the Eastern Conference all year. If there has, it hasn't been for very long. GO HABS GO

4 goals, 1 assist....piece of cake right? Ovechkin is on FIRE!

2007-2008 Ray Emery Games: 20 W-L-OTL: 8-7-3 SV%: .891 GAA: 2.95 Shutouts: 0 Marty Turco Games: 38 W-L-OTL: 20-11-4 SV%: .906 GAA: 2.42 Shutouts: 1 Their career stats are even more telling..
-
Yeah, exactly.. Emery isn't as good as Turco is what I was implying.

I'm sorry, but - I wish WWE would get rid of the No Way Out PPV all together. It gets worse and worse as the years go by. There's all this hype and preparation for the Royal Rumble, which leads into the "road to Wrestlemania". But all of that gets interrupted by another PPV with bullshit matches that takes away from the hype of WM, instead of adding to it. They could as easily build WM on their THREE shows a week, and not bother with the nonsensical No Way Out show.

Big Daddy V in the EC is just wrong. So very, very wrong.
-
I would...but I'm gonna be out for another 4 months..
-
Well, they could have a rematch though.. Flair wins at No Way Out (maybe with his feet on the ropes or something) to continue his streak, but Kennedy challenges him to a rematch at Wrestlemania because of the ending of their last match. Kennedy defeats Flair. Flair retires?
-
The run-in with the two at the Rumble, the way HBK made reference to both men being virtually the same character, the WWE's desire to get Kennedy over at all costs.....and uh....when was this No Way Out revelation made? If it was last night, then please read the first line in my previous post.

I took some time away from the WWE for the last 6 or 8 months and only started to watch again recently, well...Rumble recently. I didn't catch RAW last night, so if any of this seems far-fetched or out of turn with whatever went down since, please discard. WWE World Title Triple H vs John Cena World Heavyweight Title Edge vs The Undertaker Money in the Bank Jeff Hardy vs Shawn Michaels vs Matt Hardy vs MVP vs Umaga vs Shelton Benjamin vs Carlito vs Rey Mysterio Flair Retirement Match Ric Flair vs Kennedy Women's Title Beth Phoenix vs Mickie James ECW World Title Chavo Guerrero vs CM Punk Bullrope or some gimmick Match JBL vs Chris Jericho McMahon Family Tag Team Match Vince and Shane vs Finlay and Hornswoggle Randy Orton vs Batista Big Show vs Kane Playboy Publicity spot Maria, Ashley, Candice and Torrie

I think this is absolutely ridiculous. Neidermayer was bad enough, but this is too much. It's been wayyyyy too long, and although I know there was no cut-off date or whatever, but there very well should have. Now a well-rested Selanne is coming back to play for less than 3 months? That has to help the Ducks playoff bid, big time.

D'oh.. I meant 6 and 8. No, The Bucket List is unfortunately horrible. Two great guys, one awful, awful movie.

Sweet. Well, maybe I'll hold out for the paperback! thanks mang -
Outside numbers 6 and 7, that's the worst Top 12 I have ever seen.
-
Good show tonight.. Great card, with a few good matches and some pleasant moments. The whole Cena thing seemed to shock everyone - but thats good for a change. Wasn't the best Rumble, but by far the worst.

Former American Gladiator Host Mike Adamle Joins WWE

It was "Jeff Harvey". Big fucking deal. Don't make it out to be worse than it was, it was a simple mistake. Considering it was the guys first night on the job, cut him some slack. He seems like he'll be just fine, kinda brings some legitimacy to the broadcast team. -
Are these your top five sodas or your little sister's? Whatever happened to Pepsi or Coke? I guess I'm old-fashioned...or Canadian.

Wacky question, but anywhere online you can download this book? -
I know it appears to be sheepish to go with 1992, but it truly is the best Royal Rumble match. So many faces, the essential Rumble, IMO.

Bad Ass.

As a lifelong Bret Hart fan, I must read this book. I'm fully aware of how jaded and self-absorbed Bret comes off, but he has a ton of stories I'd like to hear, either way.
