Fellow Wii-less Torontonians might want to know that the Eaton Centre has about six consoles up for demo play. It's on the ground level, just outside Sears but before the escalators that go up to the restaurants. Judging from the videos of their "look" and facepaint, I'd say they look more like a bunch of idiot ravers than anything else. Same shit. Different pile. I never through it'd be possible for Matt Bentley to look more like a douche, but the bleached hair, white pants and goofy face paint really does the job. Ummmm yea. He's 7 ft tall!! Choken's point was that he wasn't lazy because he was willing to take unprotected chair shots, bleed and do bumps to get over. And he's had some entertaining matches. The guy's not going to do crazy moves b/c a) He'd probably get very hurt and b) He realy doesn't need to I'm not expecting him to do a SSP or a frankensteiner, I'm glad that the guy entertained you with his matches but to me he was just a boring wrestler. Like I said before Andre was way more entertaining without being athletic because he had this main event charisma, Show is just a stick in the mud. Andre was way more entertaining because of the way he was booked. The guy was pretty much unstoppable and was really only "one-upped" a handful of times by other main eventers. Show's been beaten and one-upped by lots of guys, even guys under his level IMO, so his "monsterosity" is nowhere near what Andre's was. Of course it helps that Andre had that personality that he'd kick your ass if you tried to go over on him, but still...

Andre and Hogan had a series of matches prior to that one, going all the way back to the days when Hogan was a completely bland cocky heel who didn't speak. I think Hulk Still Rules has one that took place about five years prior in a sports stadium as an extra. Even still. There was a history behind the match at WMIII. The two were buddies up until that point on Piper's Pit where Andre tore teh cross right off of Hogan's neck and challenged him to the title match. The nWo/Dungeon of Doom history behind Hogan and Show is lame and is no comparison. Ill-conceived, yes... but Hawk, still retarded.

It's not like Andre and Hogan had a series of matches before WM III, they only had like one match prior to that didn't they? As a concept it's completely retarded.
