First of all, Taz hasn't been an active wrestler in years, and that gimmick flew out the window the moment he joined WWE in the first place. Second, getting hit with a legitimate punch to the face is enough to jar the toughest badasses around. It doesn't matter who's delivering it, if it's got the force and it lands right, there's no shame in being knocked a little silly from it. Y'all are just looking for one more thing to jump on when it comes to how much this ECW revival "sucks"...

True enough. I forgot about that part with Heyman renaming it to the ECW title. For me, though, that would just seem shoddy. I'd rather have the old original ECW title than the World Heavyweight Title that's been hotshotted around and renamed since 2001.

I was just thinking about WrestleFest as well. The first time I'd played it a friend and I picked Demolition for the Royal Rumble mode and it came down to us versus CPU EQ. We had to both pile on for the double-pin to eliminate him. I'm really shocked at his age, though. That would've made him only 26 when he debuted in 1989.

I was a Hogan mark up until Andre turned on him. I guess I got jaded with his gimmick at an early age. My favourite EQ moment had to be his debut where he squashes the Warrior. It's cliche nowadays, but back then (especially as a kid/mark) you never saw that coming!!

Totally. Easily my favourite Hulkamania enemy as a kid. That time he put Hogan out of commission on the Brother Love show was like heaven for me back in the day.

Either of the Champs could lose, IMO. Make them look weak before going into ONS to retain their titles, because face-it, ECW isn't taking either of those titles and they'll probably want to bring back their own anyway.

There's nothing overly horrible about the match, aside from Bagwell, but there's also nothing special about it. Very cookie-cutter, IMO.

The Best of the X-Division Vol. 1 has alot of great matches on it. If you can find the original Best of the X-Division DVD, which highlights the first two years of the division, it is also packed full of great matches. I would also suggest the DVDs that focus solely on a particular talent like Phenomenal: The Best of A.J. Styles, Heaven Sent, Hell Bound: The Best of Christopher Daniels, Nevermore: The Best of Raven, and the upcoming Unstoppable: The Best of Samoa Joe. You really can't go wrong with any of the above DVDs. Each promises you atleast one Match of the Year candidate and plenty of other great matches. Speaking of the Daniels DVD - is it a clipjob? Or are all the matches listed on the back presented in full length?

I think the curly hair was always fake. I'd seen photos of him from that era, touring Japan with Jericho outside the ring without his mask on and he had really short hair. The shorter shoulder-length straight hair he had in WCW was real, I believe.
