It's not legalized in Canada... Its not PUBLIC ENEMY #1 in Canada either... No, American's would be public enemy #1 in Canada. Even though the Canadians that hate them are fully content with watching their movies, buying their clothes, reading about their celebrities and listening to their music.

The best thing about the DS' "operating system" (for lack of a better term) is that it's exactly the same no matter where it's released. So if the Japanese get a black one (or other colours) before North America, you can always take advantage of exhange rates and just order a Japanese model and change the internal language once you receive it, which is what I did with my DS.

You can count the 32X & Sega CD as gimmicks, IMO. They were essentially... actually.. they were add-on's that plugged into the Genesis.

To further my "nice" above: It looks pretty cool to me and this has actually made me warm up to Kevin Spacey (whom I normally cannot stomach on-screen) as Lex Luthor.

I fully support Harper's decision on this, and I really think that anyone trying to take the gov't down a notch based on that is really grasping at straws. Without bothering to re-type the sentiment, let's just say that I agree 100% with what Chris stated above.

I liked it. I'm all for using the premise of a game for a movie. I'd think it would be boring to have a carbon copy of the game's story since I'd know exactly what was going to happen and when. That's why I never understood why people were all up in arms about the Resident Evil movie having nothing to do with the original games storyline. Big whoop.
