  1. Holy fuck. That is some SERIOUSLY BAD SHIT in Germany. I wouldn't be surprised if WWE ended up being banned from the country for awhile. I wonder if it was Bradshad ad-libbing, or if one of the writers told him to do it. Whoever it was, they should be unemployed.
  2. I agree with him on one point. Foley IS a mark. I think Foley himself would probably agree.
  3. You mean they're not buried now? The cruiserweight belt was just on a woman whose only distinguishing characteristic is her grotesquely enormous personal flotation devices and a senior citizen.
  4. Christ, both Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff are employees of Vince. (although I'm sure there's a financial motivation there) I'd also say ego has something to do with it too.
  5. Billy and Chuck were the epitome of the overly-flamboyant stereotype that a quiet majority of gay people want to get away from. According to the Wrestlecrap book, the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) supported the angle, going so far as to give Billy and Chuck a wedding gift. I have no doubt that some gay people saw Billy & Chuck offensive. But I personally thought they were no more stereotypical than the 100,000 % Stereotype Through and Through gay characters they had on Sex & the City.
  6. If this is true, they should fire Holly's worthless ass. If this is not true, they should fire Holly's worthless ass.
  7. Wrestling audiences tend to be very... simplistic in their views. "Introducing first, from a PLACE THAT'S NOT AMERICA, wrestler X!" "BOOOO!" I'd like to see that menality go. Unfortunately, it's probably going to hang around for a good long while. When it comes to homosexuality, some audiences can be very hostile, but queer culture is rapidly getting more acceptable and mainstream. It will eventually filter down to wrestling. Will it happen to tomorrow? No. But eventually. I personally think that Billy & Chuck were a huge wasted opportunity. The gay community was taking notice, and Vince had an audience interested in wrestling that never had been interested in it before. What did he do? SWERVE! That basically said to the gay community that it was all a big con, and boy, don't you look stupid for believing it? "Yep, we sure did," said the gay media, and now ignore everything Vince does. Vince, gay couples have a very hard time adopting children. That means that they tend to build up large amounts of DISPOSIBLE INCOME, which they could spend on DVDs, PPVs, house shows, you name it. All they had to do is keep them together as a pretend gay tag team. Just like actors playing a role.
  8. Brooke sang the national anthems at one of the games. She is one of those singers who decides to streeeeeeeeeeeeeeetch out parts of the national anthem to needless lengths, trying to showcase a vocal range she just doesn't have a draw attention to herself. I wonder where she gets that behavior from? Oh, and whether he was kayfabeing or not, fuck Hogan.
  9. "I'm not feeling it."
  10. That's not quite true. Kane was placed under "house arrest." Which explains why he was able to show up to arenas across the country. Uh...yeah.
  11. Sure, bring back X-punk. And why don't they give Nash and Hall chance number 7,862 too? "If you guys screw up this time, you're gone for good. And we really, really, really, really mean it this time. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me 7,863 times, shame on me."
  12. I concur. Especially if it doesn't fit their character at all. Victoria's another good example. She used to be a psycho. I'm not saying that they should job Kane to her, but they better not take all backbone out of her. I remember once they had Brock corner Trish back during the "Paul Heyman is a pervert" angle. They had her freeze up. They could have had Trish get a massive face pop if she had done a kamikaze attack on Brock, and then massive heel heat on Brock if he'd F5ed her.
  13. I agree. They'll try to make HHH face, but Orton will get the cheers between the two. It's the same thing behind Brock's face turn. The audience cheers a guy who hasn't been around 400 years.
  14. The Hogan bobblehead doll is accurate at least. His head really is that big.
  15. Here's one: female wrestler is absolutely terrified by ANY male who acts threatening towards her, even if it's Eric Bischoff.
  16. Nash further added: "And I think I deserve another title run in exchange for this awesome idea. This time Goldberg jobs clean on a fingerpoke."
  17. Question: has a HEEL ever been arrested? I can't remember ever seeing that happen, but it might be something a little different. I would think it would work particularly well with a wily, cheating face like Eddie. Imagine if Bradshaw went through some elaborate plan to discredit Eddie, only to have Eddie pull a fast one and get Bradshaw hauled out of the arena in cuffs while Eddie mocks him. Or did this actually happen on Smackdown? I haven't been watching it lately, I don't think anyone need guess why.
  18. Get ready for the "Takashi has a big BUTT and is a virgin, plus she's an evil big butted virgin foreigner" gimmick that will make Lawler cream himself nightly.
  19. MAybe they'll all team up for a match against Hogan.
  20. The answer is ''...The Cheetah is the world's fastest land animal."
  21. Kane needs to lose the towel. It reminds me of those pictures of 700 pound shut-ins. They always have a towel on their heads. And JR called Val Venus "the Big Valbowski" a minute ago.
  22. WTF? I saw two second of Batista squashing Tajiri, then I got a wrestlemania commercial.
  23. Heh, that was a good line. "If you won't put up, try gettin' up."
  24. "You people?" Oh boy. Yeah, this angle worked so well for Booker, didn't it?
  25. Does WWE need a road map to the "it's all about the Benjamin" catchphrase?
