The CD of this album comes with a DVD of some live High on Fire footage. I'll grant Edwin that, based on what little of the DVD I watched, they had zero stage presence. They were boring. The sound was muddy, too, though I think that was more the equipment used to record the show than the band's fault.

This album is like having a steamroller run over you, only you somehow survive having your entire body crushed, so you get up and dust yourself off, only to have the steamroller come back for you, crushing your entire body yet again.

Also, the other day, I finally listened to Mastodon's Leviathan again, for the first time since before seeing them back in May. Still not very big on this album, but it has some nice moments. Remission, on the other hand, is killer.

Dangerous Liaisons is solid. And it has Uma Thurman when she was 18 and hot. Remember when she used to be hot? I do. Valmont came out around the same time as DL and is based off the same source material. Never seen it, though.

I like Interpol, but it's pretty easy to hate them.

I thought the ending was bad, but then I guess they weren't gonna have those guys engage in a sword fight like they did in Dangerous Liaisons. And, for the record, let's strike that goony-looking weirdo Gellar out of the make out scene and have Witherspoon and the sometimes hot Blair go at it.

If you had replaced either of them with Reese Witherspoon, we'd be talking about the best movie ever.

Sarah Michelle Gellar and Selma Blair making out gave me a boner, in spite of me never finding either particularly attractive.

Of course Green Day is better than the Doors.

"You Gotta Move" is downright embarassing. Mick and Keith were not black and from the Delta, no matter how much they pretended otherwise.

The second half of Sticky Fingers is boring. Except "Dead Flowers."
