I have yet to get around to listening to Sticky Fingers, though I've had it on loan from the library for like a month now. Guess I'll put it on.
-
Exile on Main Street has more than five.
-
I'll be too stoned to cue up four CD players.

I will give you $$$

It took awhile to grow on me, but White1 is fucking stellar. Anyone other than Agent of Oblivion like these guys? Also, since Agent will read this thread, what Sunn O))) do you have. I'm interested as to where I should go next.

I called Milky months ago. Get with the times, squarez.
-
I'd go see Sunn O))) for the sheer endurance factor of it; I can't imagine them being very entertaining live.
-
Eddie Winslow pm'ed with pot info. Awesome.
-
Milky, let's do coke together.

He lives in central Florida. A couple years back, he was walking in as I was leaving this record store in Orlando. A little bit later, as I was driving away, I had to slow down and stop, so he could cross the street. To this day, I regret not running him over. But he probably would've put a huge dent in my car, that fucking meathead.
-
And he hardly posts there anymore, too, the douche.
-
Well, if it's good, I'll just wait until it comes out.
-
Hell yeah on Boris. I managed to blow out my old crappy comp speakers while listening to them.

Just as unfunny as every other YTMND. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> http://wellexcusemeprincess.com/ <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Okay, that was awesome.

Jerusalem is just a truncated version of Dopesmoker. Sleep originally offered Dopesmoker to Island Records as their major label debut, but Island balked at 1) releasing an album that consisted of nothing but one 63 minute song, and 2) releasing an album called Dopesmoker in the first place. The guys in Sleep, in response, cut about ten minutes off the album and divided what was left into individual tracks, calling the new version of their work "Jerusalem". Island still balked; the album was finally released under the name Jerusalem several years after Island dropped the band without ever releasing anything by them. The unedited version of Dopesmoker was finally released ten years it was recorded, and that's what I ordered today.

Much like I did with Sunn O))), I've come around on Earth's Earth 2. I was blasting all 73 minutes of it at the station tonight, hopefully putting a fright into all the new freshmen milling about campus. It had an effect on me, at least; I was shaking by the end of it. Also, I ordered Sleep's Dopesmoker today. Can't wait for it to come in.

I, for one, am not. I've fallen behind on my boarding.

I hope Leena lets me be her LiveJournal friend.

What she lacks in talent she more than makes up in heart.

Stunt Granny, are you new to the internet.

I think tickets were something like $40 when they played the 9:30 Club a couple weeks ago. Yuck. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh, my. It'll probably be close to that here, as they'll be playing the House of Blues. And charging that much is ridiculous when you consider I'm paying half that to see Gang of Four, and they have all their original members!
-
Too lazy to look up dates, but I'll be hitting the following shows in the next couple of months: Pernice Brothers The Decemberists Gang of Four Acid Mothers Temple New York Dolls is a possibility, depending on ticket price.

"City Sickness" is so great. I've put it on mixes in an effort to get in certain girls' pants.

Which ones? I was in Starbucks today and heard "Sweet Memory" from their last album. I was happy.
