Sebadoh was my favorite band in high school; even when it got to the point that I hadn't listened to them in a couple of years, I still thought they were good. I finally cut the cord last month and sold everything by them I owned. I realized well before then that I didn't like them anymore, but nostalgia can be powerful; I still remember listening to "Willing to Wait" on repeat after my first girlfriend dumped me.

Some douchebag on my buddy list has had a fucking Star Wars reference as his fucking away message AND profile for something like three months. It's not like he's been changing it to differing SW quotes/refs, either. It's been the same thing the entire time. And AIM profiles. What's with people that have excerpts of AIM convos in which they are the principal speaker? It's like saying "Hey, I'm really funny on IM. Here's this one time where my sparkling wit really shone through over the internet." (Nothing personal, Kotz.)

My female housemate says she tried that the other day and yeah, it was a major orgasm. Something I'm not interested in finding out for myself, though.
