No, friend, watching Gilmore Girls is a pleasure, not a chore!
-
The latest album from Boris, a stoner/doom metal band from Japan, sports this cover: Normally, parody artwork does little for me, but this one made me lol.
-
The only proper way to mourn, I decided, is to watch one episode of Gilmore Girls a day, starting with the first season, starting tonight.

He looked something like this.

So really, this thread is me mourning the (unlikely) possibility of hitting a dry spell.

Southern Lord is based out of California. Anyway, I checked out Earth's Earth 2. I like it, but, at 70 minutes, it's way too much ungodly drone for my tolerance level.

Whenever a relationship ends, I always convince myself that it'll be several months before I get laid again. That rarely ends up being the case, but the thought depresses me nonetheless.

The only good band to come out of England in the last five years. Discuss.

That line of thought convinces me you've been listening to the Futureheads all wrong, PLAGIARISM!
-
We've very little in common, a fact which was getting more and more difficult to ignore as time went on.
-
I think you called two months.

Well, I see no reason to go to work tomorrow. I might be a wreck, maybe.

I was using her as a placeholder; she served well as both a willing vagina and a warm body to cuddle with for when I'm feeling emo. I wasn't yet ready to be single.
-
I can't believe she broke up with me using the very same excuse I planned on using to break up with her at some unforseen point in the future.
-
In this thread, I'm gonna pretend that everything's cool and I'm fine with it, only to break down in tears somewhere on page 3.

I bet Modern Man's Hustle has a Scarface poster in his room.

I rarely listen to rap these days. As such, I haven't played much rap on my show in some time. But hey, I played Black Star last week, if that counts for something. Anyway, I found the Sneetches' Sometimes That's All We Have on slsk. I'm two songs in and man, this is so fucking good. Too bad everything they've released is out of print, as I'd be willing to buy it all right now. Thanks for telling me about these guys, IDRM.

This LCD song I'm playing right now is good, but they have so many better ones.
-
I mean, that's obviously his voice, but the music is nothing I'd ever expect from him.
-
Weird that this is Ian Mackaye.

Sorry. The only Sneetches I could find on soulseek was this four song ep that I don't think was an official release. It collects these songs they did for various tribute albums. Of the four songs, I really like three of them; the one I don't like is a cover of "Everybody's Talkin'" (from the film Midnight Cowboy). Which I don't like because it sounds just like the original, which I didn't like to begin with. But yeah, I need to do what I can to hear more Sneetches.

Hey, IDRM: I'm playing the Sneetches on my show tonight. OH YES I AM.
