Agent sent me a pm saying he wanted me to have his moderator status. So, Dr. Tom, let's get on it.

    Women troubles.

What's horrible is that, for 30 seconds, I seriously considered doing that.

    I should become a monk.

You guys should listen to the two hour special I'm doing this Sunday. It'll be a lot of the faggy indie shit I like, plus some metal, which I'll dedicate to my fallen boarding brother, Agent of Oblivion.

    Women troubles.

Now everything's fine. I should dump her now so that I maintain control.

We're approaching month #3, I think. We haven't broken up yet, but we're "working through it."

Things you always thought about other posters

I'd say ask Agent, but I was really fucked up for most of the time we spent hanging out.

    N.W.A's Straight Outta Compton

"I Ain't Tha 1" may contain no profanity, but it's easily the most offensive song on the album.

So I'd probably not want to be around most of you in real life.

I can confirm this. As such, I assume everyone on the board is like they are in real life.

    This new Weezer song.

Yeesh. It might as well be Bowling for Soup or some such shit. Awful chorus, awful hook, awful in general. I remember when Maladroit came out, thinking there was no way these guys would ever make a good album again. If this song's any indication, I was right. So, anyone else here heard it? I got it via a link to this Boston radio station, but it's down now (so I can't provide it for you guys).

Comments which don't warrant a thread.

I don't get the Clash outside of London Calling (the s/t bores me, mostly, though it's considered a classic of punk). But LC is just filled with great fuckin' songs.

London Calling is top ten material, definitely. Too bad I'm not that high on their other stuff.

In order to decide which is my favorite, I should listen to nothing but Rain Dogs and Seamonsters for the rest of the week. Of course, this could end up backfiring, causing me to hate both albums. Hm. Anyway, this is a big enough breakthrough for me, as I used to never be able to narrow down an all-time favorite list to less than five.

Do you own the DVD as well? ...And does anyone else on these boards enjoy Tim Buckley aside from me? Not yet. The Commercial album DVD fucked me up enough for the time being. Not least because Andy Partridge is credited as playing on the new tracks! I know that's him singing on "Margaret Freeman" from the original album, but I wasn't aware he did anything new for the DVD release.

    Recent Purchases

I got the reissue of Super Furry Animals' Mwng, which replaces my illegal copy. Huzzah.

    This new Weezer song.

Saying you can't criticize one song but not the other because of similar structure is absurd. What similiarites? That they both employ verse-chorus-verse? So does the majority of the pop music canon.

    This new Weezer song.

I don't see how anyone who likes Weezer would call "Undone" anything less than good.
