Who says pop cannot be subversive, too? Third Eye Blind had a very big hit with "Semi-Charmed Life," a song about speed freaks and oral sex.
-
Are you this retarded in the wrestling folders, too? As has been discussed, pop music doesn't have to be all over MTV. It describes a certain sound; melody, hooks and the like play a part.

Agent, what's the difference between black metal and doom metal and power metal. Plus, any other types of metal I have not mentioned here. Also, are grindcore and death metal interchangable terms. allmusic seems to suggest this when you look up Napalm Death.
-
Also, anything played on commercial radio is a "pop" song, be it Justin Timberlake or Limp Bizkit or whatever. Pop music has a very wide scope.
-
Anything with the verse-chorus-verse structure can be classified as a pop song, but really, "Purple Rain" is a ballad.
-
The three I listed are all better than that song.

Speaking of strippers, Agent, one time, whilst receiving a lap dance, I noticed some slight stretch marks on the stripper's otherwise flawless person. These marks were just the right indicator that she very likely had a child. Now, my question to you: Would you let thoughts of her having a kid distract you from enjoying her practice her admitedly rather seedy profession? Personally, I don't a judge a woman who strips to make money—you do what you gotta do to live—but I'd rather not think that this woman who's waving her luscious ebony dumper in my face has a kid. In spite of the whole "MILF"-phenomona, mothers really shouldn't be hot.

May I be banned from every wrestling folder? I'd really rather not have all that shit on my screen.

And he was in Zwan!

But David Pajo makes really awesome music under the Papa M moniker these days. I'd say he's doing alright for himself; I've no clue what the other three members have done since, really.
-
And I'd rather they not reform, even if it's just for some one-off show at this year's UK ATP festival, as the rumors are dictating. I don't know about the other guys so much, but David Pajo (aka Papa M) is a pretty happy, well-adjusted dude these days. I just can't see him having a part in such depressing, harrowing music now. EDIT: I have this picture of me and Pajo, but I don't like the way I look in it.

I tried listening to Spiderland in the car once. I nearly ran off the road during "Washer." Never again.
-
That was worth a double post, I think.

Did you hear that Slint is possibly reforming.

Haw haw haw. Shut the fuck up. If there's someone worse than me, it's you. In an ironic twist, I'm going to work now. Fuck you, you jobless son of a bitches. The "I suck, but you suck worse than me" didn't work for BBCW, and frankly- he was better at this than you were. And now he stalks me from folder to folder. If there were a yawning smiley, I would employ it here.

What condition is it in? This Mortal Coil vinyl goes for $30, usually.

I really do prefer Dump's version of this. And I agree with godthedog that not every song on a favored album has to score highly.

I would make fun of him for it, but he told me about the agent via AIM a few weeks ago. I would've made fun of him for it then, but I felt all kinds of special because he never mentioned it on the board.

Great dislike/trust of anything organized.

Rumors are circulating that Slint will reform to play the ATP festival in the UK this December.

"Ask" threads are fun to do for awhile; I was really glad subliminal_animal came along for that last one, though.

Agent, I recall you once saying that you usually delete the personal messages you receive, though you've kept one or two. What were they?
-
Agent, did you ever consider any other screenname when you registered for the board two years ago?
