I think I have really sensitive ears. I've gone without earplugs before; for instance, at one show a few years back, I didn't wear 'em, nor did my friends. Afterwards, they were able to carry on a conversation, while I was just yelling "What?" repeatedly.

How's the former? I hear it's good and have been meaning to pick it up, but an opinion on it would be nice. Good, though I prefer the stuff the Feelies were doing on Crazy Rhythms. The later period work, while solid, is a little too laid back. And good job on everyone who gets Spiderland.

But, as my earlier post indicated, no one really cares that he's saying this. Homophobia's never been a secret in rap, but rock stars saying similarly hateful things are subject to much harsher scrutiny. Remember the uproar over Sebastian Bach's "AIDS kills fags dead" shirt? Of course, you, Anglesault, et al. should go right ahead be glad he's man enough to hate fags. It's a free country. Because NOTHING was said about Eminem "homophobia" was there? Point taken, but his popularity and mainstream media exposure is an exception to practically every rapper ever.

I predict this will be a close race.
