Ages 21-25, only. All must be single and looking for dating and/or relationships. EDIT: And I meant zip code, not area code, lalz. First up!

I'm upping Neon Bible to sendspace right now. As for not finding it on torrents, it's a rather poor 160k rip, culled from different sources—track five sounds like it's wrapped in gauze—so it's probably too shoddy for most sites's standards.
-
As for Of Montreal, they have enough songs I like to make me wish I actually liked more of the band itself. They're too slight and just so gosh golly whimsical most of the time.
-
Yeah, I can get it for you. Turns out the track list on mine is messed up; what I thought was the first song is actually the fourth.
-
The Arcade Fire - Neon Bible Dude's got a real Springsteen thing going on in the first track. Is this a sign of Killers to come?
-
Two songs later, and the Prince-copping "Faberge Falls for Shuggie" makes me recant my intention to see them live.

This was beautiful: -
I'm listening to the newest Of Montreal album, Hissing Fauna, are You the Destryoer?. Every other year or so, I try getting into these guys, hoping it'll finally click. It isn't this time, but this one song on here, "The Past is a Grotesque Animal"—a mammoth motorik of despair—is spine-tingling. That it sounds absolutely like nothing else they've ever done doesn't necessarily mean it's also the best, but it helps. Outstanding song. In a few months, I might go see them just to hear it played live.

Sorry, Paul. I feel I am indirectly responsible for the terrible direction this thread has taken. -
Fuck hyperbole: GoodFellas is the best gangster film ever made, and just a great movie in general. The worst thing I'll say about it is Ray Liotta never cashed in on his performance in that film.
-
For instance, what do you know about Joe Pesci? For better or worse, GoodFellas birthed the Pesci stereotype, which is what you're thinking of. He so fucking embodied Tommy to perfection that now Pesci cannot play anyone unhinged without people, whether they realize it or not, thinking about that film. And De Niro? How was this typical for him? Again, your own perception of De Niro clouded your judgment of the film. In what way was his performance here just him "reminding us" who he is? Was Jimmy the same character he played in Mean Streets? The Godfather Part II? Taxi Driver? The Deer Hunter? Raging Bull? The King of Comedy? No, he wasn't like he was in any of those.
-
That isn't so much controversial as embarassingly ill-informed and wrong.

Isn't this the guy who plays World of Warcraft all day? Maybe he was saying that to an opponent he was presently besting. Also, should I remove a great deal of the blank space from my earlier post? That was very obnoxious of me. -

The sound of my roommate having an orgasm, I have discovered, sounds not unlike someone experiencing a massive bowel movement. -

FROM THE EAST COAST TO THE WEST COAST -
I can stand beside Things I think are right And I can stand beside The idea of stand and fight And I do believe There’s a dream for everyone This is our country From the east coast To the west coast Down the Dixie Highway Back home This is our country There's room enough here For science to live And there's room enough here For religion to forgive And try to understand The other people of this world This is our country From the east coast To the west coast Down the Dixie Highway Back home This is our country That poverty could be Just another ugly thing And bigotry could be Seen only as obscene And the ones that run this land Will help the poor and common man This is our country From the east coast To the west coast Down the Dixie Highway Back home This is our country The dream will never leave And some day it will come true And it’s up to me and you To do the best that we can do And let the voice of freedom Sing out through this land This is our country From the east coast To the west coast Down the Dixie Highway Back home This is our country

I don't remember these lines being in any of the 10,000 ads I've seen over the past few months -- they must be featured in television markets outside my viewing area. You know the guy who runs this site just accepts anything you send to him, right?

I absolutely loved the last ten-or-so minutes of Broken Flowers, but was miserably bored by most everything that proceeded it. Anyway, Jarmusch seems uninterested in letting his characters be human beings. Were it not for my enjoying Ghost Dog (and the closing sequence of BF), I'd have written the guy off as a lost cause long ago. Still, he has one arguably great movie (Stranger Than Paradise), one very, very good one (Down by Law), two good, if nothing spectacular ones (Mystery Train and Ghost Dog), and the rest, which are so-so to awful.

An ex-girlfriend of mine had that same exact shirt. She has bigger tits, though.

I've little trouble understanding the hatred for "Rocky Raccoon" and sometimes hate it myself.
-
Ringo's done a lot of shit, but "Don't Pass Me By" and "Good Night" I really, really like. They seemed to be hated almost as much as "Rocky Raccoon" in some circles, however.
