Wait, was leena talking about the Milky password? Because....
-
leena would be one of my favorite people here if I didn't think she believed everything she posted.
-
You know, if you type out your password on the screen, it comes out as *s. **********

I imagine it's easy to hate ITAOTS.

Charles Mingus - Blues & Roots Thelonious Monk - Monk's Dream And have you gotten into much of Miles Davis's fusion stuff? If not, start with In a Silent Way and proceed chronologically from there. You may or may not hit a bump once you reach On the Corner, depending on your taste. (Side note: I happen to dislike a lot of fusion, but—given that you at least like the Weather Report—you'd very likely get something out of Herbie Hancock's Headhunters.) -
That was just a special post I made for you and me and whoever else saw it.

Look, I don't give two shits about the socially-retarded poonanny that started this thread, but I do have a problem with Mole bowing in deference to some faceless, soulless, pulseless adminbot. Mole, place your eight-inch python down on the virtual table and tell that "Mike" what's what.
-
Who has the bigger cock, Mole? You or Mike? I'm betting it's you, so don't let that pencil dick scare you.

Wait, so she really wanted Milky to fuck her until she screamed like an Indian? He's flattered, I'm sure.

Boy, Discipline sure sounds like the brother of Remain in Light, huh? That's not a bad thing. I'll say more later; until then, discuss King Crimson here.
-
I hold Discipline in such high regard now that I can't say any of its counterparts on AL are superior, though maybe I like "Indiscipline" a tad bit more on the latter, if only for Belew's more frantic vocal delivery.
-
I don't know if I should be flattered and admire his dedication, or be creeped out.

Absent Lovers renders Three of a Perfect Pair superfluous, wouldn't you say? On AL, every song from ToaPP is superior to the studio version. It's not even close. An aside re: ToaPP, I like the Tony Levin mix of "Sleepless" better than any of the songs on the proper album, including the main version of "Sleepless" on there. Anyone know the story behind the Levin mix? I know the other two remixes were for radio airplay and the dancefloor, respectively, but what's the deal with Levin's?

This is all you had to say. Though, you should've dropped "clearly," because it really wasn't very clear.

The last five years have been Nobel-caliber for King, I guess.

I'm going to be a predatory college professor.

Now that I've spent some time with Three of a Perfect Pair, I can almost—almost!—agree with the assertion that Absent Lovers is the definitive statement on the 80s line-up of KC. Holding me back from full-on agreeing is that I'll take Discipline over AL and any other Crimson release—hell, I'll take it over most albums by anyone; I feel that strongly about it now (I can't believe I ever prefered Beat over this). Both the songs from Beat and Three of a Perfect Pair benefit from the live setting (particularly the limp ToaPP).

It isn't. But he's gone anyway. Whew. If he stayed around I thought I was gonna have to join his forum like I said I would.

This and the new Pynchon on Nov. 21st. Whatta day.

Connzilla, I will join your forum.

Gene, you posted in this thread.

Also, I didn't notice this until recently, but Chick-fil-a has Texas Pete hot sauce at their condiment bar. I've been drowning my sandwiches in it.

Probably a regional thing since I don't ever recall McDonald's serving biscuits and gravey down here in Texas. Chilli Cheese Burritos dissapeared from the Taco Bell menu awhile back, but I kept ordering them and recieving them until just the last two times I've been there. You can get biscuits-and-gravy at both Hardees and Whataburger, the two of which are plentiful in Florida. Northern Florida for Whataburger. I've yet to see one in my neck of the woods. Keep your eyes open! They got 'em in Orlando and Tampa, too. So. Fl. is only a matter of time.
