I hope that the recent run of good matches on Raw, while not as great as those consistently on Smackdown, shows that it has an audience in the ratings. It's about time we get back to 2000-esque match-over-storylines.

amazing show - a non-fan watched with me and left my apartment looking forward to next week I love that Hardy is 3-0 with Kennedy... definitely a future storyline (and great matches!) to come.

if Cena did like, 3 - 4 new moves and didnt slag on them like he does the STFU, then people would totally agree to him being good. As it is he is good.. especially considering how relatively formulaic and basic his moves are.

man. All I could honestly complain about are a few things: * WHT match placement: half-way? Really? WHY? This is two years in a row that the Rumble winner's match is right in the middle, and while personally John Cena matches are not horrible by any stretch... Taker/Batista was just awesome, and deserved the final spot. bah * Match times: some lagged, some were cut off so short, it was really strange. * Women's Title match: I'm sure more could have been done to make it entertaining. bleh * John Cena's miracle leg but it's alright I suppose... MR KENNEDY WINS!!!!!!!

he's on a roll with fans though: He was the one to give Kennedy his first pinfall defeat, smashed in Mercury's face, and Corkscrew is right, he really DOES get a ton of fans behind him in every match he's in. I could see him winning MITB (even though I'm a tremendous Kennedy fan)

it means less guys get PPV paydays and those top stars get many many more - potentially causing a rift between the lowcard and uppercard guys. So I hate this news, but will have no choice but to swallow it.

this is real bad. Did you guys see the fucking schedule? There is no decrease in PPVs - at all. This just means the split is more of a joke than ever before, and the great run of SD PPVs is like.. over. PPVs with all three brands 2 - 3 weeks apart?? That's asking for the lowest buyrates ever. I don't want all-brand PPVs that aren't the big four, as it really fucks shit up, let alone lessens the value of the cross-brands like Wrestlemania. bah.

perhaps if I added in the premise that it is more likely that a good hardcore brawl will help better get over the brand, what I said earlier would be more plausible

oh I agree, but in terms of sheer interactability (ooh I'm sure that's not a word) it would be great if Miis could all just hang out, join games together, etc.. I really doubt anyone really NEEDS OMG VIRTUAL APARTMENT ...although you know that's gonna have people by the system just for that very reason. ehh.

okay, despite STILL not owning a Wii ( ), having just seen all the stuff concerning PS3's 'Home' deal, it got me a-thinkin... did Nintendo's Mii Plaza just totally get trashed? I would seriously love some sort of real Mii environment like this Home idea. But how likely is that??

good show. Glad I saw it. If this rumor about Vince being serious about making ECW a good and equal brand (so to speak).. we need to a) keep the ECW popular guys there (Punk, RVD, etc) and b) a draft to even out the number of people on each brand. This like, 13 person ECW roster is ridiculous.

while it does sort of make the PPV more 'special', it REALLY doesn't do the WWE any favors in the argument about the brand-split. They should not make a trend out of this... any further than they really have to.
