One hell of a movie. Not as good as Raging Bull or even Million Dollar Baby, but still a great, emotional experience. Russell Crowe is the perfect Jim Braddock, but the MVP in my opinion was Paul Giamatti. This, the third Oscar-worthy performance in a row, better be the one where he finally gets the nod. I loved Howard's directing, too, especially in the championship fight. At times the camerawork felt a lot like Raging Bull. All in all a superb effort. Highly recommended.

Seriously, yeah. Those commercials are perhaps the greatest things I've read in a long while. "What… is our… motto, children?" and Samuel L. Jackson as Martin Luther Vandross. "This is the end for you, my Furher... motherfucker."

Was this the last episode of the season? Considering how far they pushed the tension with Jim and Pam, it seemed like it. Anyway, my favorite part was the "guy stuff" complete with Michael unbuttoning his shirt. I also loved the Jim/Roy part, where you could see Kevin peeking in the background, and afterwards wiping the sweat off of his face. And Michael staring into the window during Jan's meeting was like last week, where he was staring at Ryan from his office (which was the best part of last week's episode, imo)

Tremendous Clusterfuck by Muzz. Great action (especially the finish), and the best characterization of Ghost Machine v2.0 outside of the robot himself ("He's stuck in an infinite loop!"). The word limit was a good idea, as it kept the match going with just the right mix of comedy and focused action (as opposed to meandering nonsense, see: mine). Wes Davenport for world champion!

Hilarious, tremendously smart writing, and a ton of replay value. Go for it.

Look at those rebellious democrats, giving a standing ovation when they're not supposed to! Fight the power! -
Fuckin' weird.

Uhh, "Weapon of Choice" by Fatboy Slim, obviously. Electric Six, "Danger! (High Voltage)"

The pro-religion, anti-drug masterpiece Blood Freak, in which marijuana and turkey meat collide to turn Herschel into a turkey-headed vampire who feeds on the blood of other pot smokers. Includes a hilariously bad narrator (reading directly off of a paper on the table), realistic turkeys and a GREAT convulsing scene that lasts about 6 minutes.

Tips from a washed up CF winner: Have some fun with it. The biggest hurdle to overcome for me was having my character be the last to enter. So, for the major chunk of the match I was writing people's moves, storylines, and trademarks that I wasn't necessarily familiar with. To distract yourself, try some extended banter between commentators or pointing something out in the crowd, or go the more internal, analrapist route and focus on what the characters are thinking. You know from IRL battle royals that there are never full-fledged wrestling matches. Signature moves, attempts to throw over the top rope, and a shitload of strikes. So spice it up and make a punch more than that. Really, reading my match again, most of the "humor" was eye-rolling and only served to entertain me in my sleep-deprived, stressed state. Example: extended conversation between Comet and Riley asking "What if Todd [Royal] was one of us?" "Just a slob like one of us?" etc. Groan. Also, have an outline of the order of eliminations and how. It helps tremendously.

John ends up on his back with Brooke on top of him for the third time. John bites his lip and blinks his eyes to get the sweat out of them. He watches Brooke almost violently ride's his cock as he thrusts up into her. "Ohhhhh fuck Brooke... you really are... running wild..." Brooke slides her hand through her sweaty blonde hair and laughs cutely "Am... I wild enough...for...the Chain...Gang?"

Seriously, yeah! And he and Hugh Laurie had the best speeches last night by far.

Either Charlie "Grappler" Matthews or The Masked Man, possibly, soon.

I'm going to Ireland for 9 days over Spring Break with some of my best friends. 40 degrees and raining, I can't wait.

Nice promo! Now I want to see Pete travel a melancholy, Bill Murrayesque adventure to find his son.

Quite the contrary, actually. hollywoodmcfly (10:19:16 PM): I probably won't be aware of what happens next. But I'm expecting a stomach pump. Happy Birthday, Mr. Peters. Best tag team partner ever.

Second the Twin Cinema suggestion. Really good stuff.
