I'd say Jay-Z's Blueprint (Momma Loves Me) but it includes a reprise of Girls, Girls, Girls, so I'd have to reconsider. Something about that song (Girls, that is) rubs me the wrong way.

I am neither Inca nor Edwin but have a spot in my heart for Dream Theater. A Change of Seasons is incredible, as is Home (and pretty much all of Metropolis Pt. 2, for that matter). Their new CD Train of Thought is pretty good, especially the instrumental Stream of Consciousness and This Dying Soul. I'd love to see them in concert. Their new live CD looks tempting.

The Royal Tenenbaums I like how my taste in comedy is shifting towards the more subtle, understated variety. I loved how this wasn't a laugh-out-loud, in your face comedy. It wasn't even much of a comedy at all, in some points. After all, attempted suicide, kinda-sorta incest, and an overall depressing mood don't make a traditional comedy. Still, great performances by all, especially Gene Hackman, Luke Wilson (surprised me), Gwyneth Paltrow, Ben Stiller (surprisingly subdued), and an underused Bill Murray. 8.5/10
