Not always... IIRC, the Peach Bowl games against Clemson and Georgia Tech in the 90s / early 2000s were something like 14-10 and 28-10, with LSU being down at the half for both. The one against Miami and this one are fucking insane, though, as the combined total of the last 6 quarters for LSU in the Peach Bowl is around 78-6.

Make that "LSU is leading by 31 here". I thought LSU would be good tonight and possibly win, as they had time to heal up, but this is re-goddamn-diculous. I guess this proves that a very talented D-Line can stop the triple option with enough time to gameplan it.

My team isn't inactive due to me not giving a shit... it's inactive due to me coming to TSM infrequently and, when I do show up, the picks thread usually isn't here. If the picks thread isn't up on Tuesday or early Wednesday and we've got Thursday games, that leaves some of us in quite a pickle, no? New Orleans at Chicago (3.5) Tampa Bay at Atlanta (3.5) Pittsburgh at Baltimore (2.5) Denver at Carolina (7.5) (7.5) Washington at Cincinnati (3.5) Tennessee at Houston Detroit at Indianapolis (17.5) (2.5) Green Bay at Jacksonville (5.5) San Diego at Kansas City San Francisco at Miami (6.5) Buffalo at N.Y. Jets (7.5) (3.5) Seattle at St. Louis Minnesota at Arizona (3.5) (7.5) New England at Oakland N.Y. Giants at Dallas (3.5) Cleveland at Philadelphia (14.5) Cincy will score 10

Damn Red Raiders... if they'd beaten Oklahoma, I'd have gotten a perfect week on here.

I must be stuck in a time-warp this week... I thought I'd sent these in until I was asked over dinner who I'd picked this week. SATURDAY Notre Dame vs. Navy (in Baltimore) Northwestern at Michigan South Carolina at Florida Minnesota at Wisconsin North Carolina at Maryland California at Oregon State BYU at Air Force Texas A&M at Baylor Arizona at Oregon Boston College at Florida State Vanderbilt at Kentucky Tulsa at Houston Tiebreak #1: How many total points will be scored in the South Carolina/Florida game? 48 Tiebreak #2: How many passing yards will Tulsa's David Johnson have against Houston? 290

KKK, Am I (Cincinnati Bungles) supposed to take my assigned bye this week or wait until the team's actual bye in week 10? I've got my picks done if so.
-
At least I'm doing better than the *real* Cincinnati Bungles.

Pete Caroll needs to learn to pull his starters out when he's up by 27 near the end of the 3rd quarter. Jim Tressel learned that one in a painful way when he lost Beanie for nearly a month after leaving him in against a scrub. Nick Saban learned that one after losing Matt Mauck for the year in 2002 when LSU was stomping the piss out of Florida in The Swamp. And let's not forget Shula a few years back going for it on fourth against Florida despite being up big and Prothro breaking his leg on the play. I don't think it quite sunk in with Shula... didn't he lose Brodie Croyle later that year because he fucked up his arm against some scrub I-AA team like Western Carolina? Or was that a different season?

I'm just like my team of choice under coach Les Miles... I may lose a few games during the season, but I always seem to find my way into the Top 10 by the end of the season.

Not until Vandy sews up the SEC East. At that point, watch out for a guy riding a pale horse.
