Yeah, I was there, and the entire arena was pretty much JUST for Cung Le, almost to an annoying degree. The dudes in front of me were blocking my way when Frank was done, and I had to ask someone what happened. He was like, "That was crazy! He fell off his stool!" Um...ok. HA! And when Kimbo came out, he was like, "Shit, I gotta fight here in SAN FRAN, WHATS UP!~" We were all cheering until he said that, then it was just like, "wait...what? We're San Jose, fool." All in all, a good show-ish. Shamrock seemed like he was making Cung look good the first two rounds. He wasn't blocking, he wasn't shooting, he wasn't doing anything, but in the third round, when he landed some of those punches, it seemed like he was gonna just go to town on Cung in the fourth. But, those stools can be a bitch, huh?

That one James Blunt song...fuck, I can't remember the name of it... "Goodbye My Lover"...that's it...What a piece of shit that song is. Did Bon Jovi release anything this year? If they did, that deserves to be on this. Fergilicious, yes...that song does suck asshole. As much as I love H.O.V., "Kingdom Come" and it's single pissed me off at how bad they sucked. Jay shoulda stayed retired so the last thing we heard from him was "99 Problems" Anything by The Fray. They suck something fierce. So do All-American Rejects. See, normally, I would put MCR and Fall Out Boy and Panic at the Prom or whatever on here, but honestly...it's kinda pointless. Yes, they suck, and yes, if I have to hear "Dance Dance" or "Black Parade" one more time, I'm going to kill myself...but, honestly...it just doesn't matter. There's more "music" being disguised as music out there for me to hate.

1. Arctic Monkeys @ The Warfield in SF. Awesome show. Alex Turner dedicated A Certain Romance to the people in the balcony and "the kid in the Ireland jersey"...which was me. I was excited. 2. Arctic Monkeys @ Great American Music Hall in SF. Smaller venue, more energetic, better vibe and feeling. Would be #1 if the dedication didn't happen. 3. Yeah Yeah Yeah's @ Bimbo's 365 in SF. All around awesome show. It was a "secret" gig to test the new album. That being said, I love the new album. 4. Nico Vega @ The Troubadour in Hollywood. My friend's band. Fuckin' awesome live. Just an all around awesome band and a West Coast alternative to YYY. This show was what made me a legit fan of theirs. 5. The Strokes @ The Concourse in SF. Was OK. There was, like...5 years of hype for me since every time I tried to see them before that, something happened. Looking back on it, I wish I had moved up closer and not gone with my girlfriend at the time. She kinda killed the mood. Only on this list because of the hype surrounding it for me. 6. The Oohla's @ ? in Hollywood. I completely forgot where I saw them, but I had a blast seeing them. Energetic and fun band. 7. Nico Vega @ Safari Sams in Hollywood. It was a kinda shitty night, but Nico Vega kicked ass. 8. The Motorcycle Boys @ Safari Sams in Hollywood. Blatant New York Dolls rip-off band, complete with Johnny Thunders look-alike. Awesome. 9. Circus Minor @ ? in Hollywood. Kind of an annoying band, but their drummer went insane and was getting everyone pumped, so that made them entertaining. 10. The Red's @ Kyle's basement in Ventura. Sure, it's my band, but we played for 20 people in a tiny little basement and we did a good job. Nobody walked out or complained, sooo...yeah. I liked it.

Well, considering the fact I haven't showed my "face" around here in quite some time, I'm pretty sure that you all would see this coming. I thought I would have a lot more time than I actually do, thusly meaning, I never really got around to writing anything above "Lackluster-at-best." So, I quit. Again.
