Oh, LA is a bloody wasteland. Hollywood, surprisingly, wasn't that bad. Yeah, you probably left at it's peak. Some of my homies down there don't know what happened. They LOVED Ventura, then the mudslides, and they can't wait to get out. The people got worse, the beaches got gross, the places got more expensive. Have you ever been to Dargan's? The bar on East Main and California street? 9 dollar beer night EVERY night. You know where DOESN'T suck as bad as I thought? San Diego. People weren't as dick headed as I had heard, and were, in actuality, quite friendly.

I got this off the Liverpool website. This might be old news, but I found it kinda funny. It's kinda funny how someone would think that a team would want to sell it's TOP SCORER to one of it's biggest rivals. I guess it's not really news, per se, but it's fun.

Pretty much. He got suspended for about two weeks, he came back, and he said "I have a bomb." I stated it wrong. I made it sound like he did every week. I'm sorry about that. Also, every four years, there would be a narcotics agent planted in our school because dem rich kids love dem some coke!~ Our senior year, she tried to join up with our skater group, but when she found out all we did was skate and hang out at each others houses, she bailed. AND at the end of Senior year, there was a pretty big drug bust. Something like 15 students or something got arrested for cocaine and marijuana possession. One dude even had the cocaine in his fucking locker. I come from a weeeeird fuckin' town, man.

Thank you! You learn to drive with it, you take the test using the signal, then, "Ohh! Thank God that test is over and I don't have to use those annoying fucking blinkers anymore." Annoying bastards.

If you're just visiting like that, then yeah, Ventura's great. Even I liked it when I was just visiting. Living there and having to deal with the people on a daily basis will realllly get on your nerves. So, I also take it you left before the beaches got pretty crappy, huh? After the mudslides of '05, the entire town just went down the tubes.

I usually just point at the light and stare at the driver until they get the hint.

My buddy stayed at a hostel in New York, and I reckon hostels are generally the same around the world, but, I dunno. 1. Usually, they cost about 10 dollars American, so, what's that? 6 quid? 2. My buddy just showed up to his and got a bed. If they have spare beds, they'll give it to ya. 3. He would return at 3:30 am pretty much every night. He said he just used the place to sleep and keep some of his shit. The main problem to look out for is someone taking your bed. Again, I don't know if that's how it is in hostels all over the world. A bit mo' research oughta do ya some good, though.

How the hell do you get away with doing that without getting expelled or arrested? His folks had moolah. Oh, he got suspended, but...yeah, that didn't do anything. It wasn't so much trying to beat them up, really, it was more throwing punches. I actually am starting to think he was autistic.

Not exactly true, considering the homeless up here are actually polite and don't get pissed when you don't have money to give them or threaten to "shank you" if you don't give them a cigarette. Of course, I lived right next to the homeless village and they would try and come into my apartment "to get somethin' to eat, man." I've lived in all three areas, too, my man, and I can tell ya, the homeless in Ventura are far, FAR worse than the ones anywhere else I've been. And to be honest, San Jose doesn't have THAT big of a homeless problem. San Francisco, though. Wow. That's just pure, pure shit.

Not so much something that pisses me off, more a kinda funny story: So the wife and I are seeing the new Indiana Jones at our local theater. Two screens, maybe 200 people tops. Anyway, these little shit kids are sitting in the front row with a laser pointer and just being little assholes, shining the point on Marion Ravenwood's boobs, on Indy's dick, just annoying shit. So the big fucker behind me gets up, walks over to the kids and stands in front of them, leans in and says, "If you keep using that fucking laser pointer, I'm going to break your fucking noses." The little bastards get all scared and droop down in their seats and start saying, "Yes sir. I'm sorry, sir." It was great. My wife threw a Swedish Fish at one of their heads afterward, and he didn't even turn around. Just took it like a bitch.

This kid at my high school used to try and beat up the teachers and faculty, but would always get taken down by our ex-Marine Vice Principal. One day, he walked straight into this dude's office and said, "I have a bomb." The kid got the shit kicked out of him by a bunch of people when they found out he was lying. I think he's in prison now for beating and molesting a girl.
