Unfortunatly, Goldberg is the best option RIGHT NOW. Not over all, but at the press time, he is. Now, who would be the best with proper build? I would say Jericho and RVD because the fans care about them, even without a monster push. TO be perfectly honest though, right now, the only viable options are GOldberg and HHH because they are the only built up guys on Raw. There is no one else that screams MAIN EVENTER right now either than those two. This is why I hate it when WWE only pushes two people to the top. When one is gone, then you only have one guy. Guess what happens then? Mark Henry is portrayed as a threat to the champ. Ew.

Okay. You said you were glad that they had the last two matches. I'm asking why? Those two matches have killed the suspence for a ultimate rematch between Angle and Brock. Could you imagine if they had a rematch at WM 20? The suspence in the quality of the match, the winner of the match would be great. The buildup would be awesome. It would have been a year in the making. And this time, the two have switched roles. But alas, it can't be like that anymore.

I somewhat agree with you, but at this point, any world title reign for Benoit would be a good one. It would be a travisty if the guy retired without a world title run.

Dudleys are a decent team. If La Resistance were remotely good, they would be able to have at least an average match with them. Instead, all the matches have sucked. As did their matches with RVD/Kane.

Why? Now the suspence and build to the ultimate rematch isn't there.

You think WGTT is the team to do that? They are a great team, but (1) remember, they are still a young team and probably can't carry another team quite yet and (2) are La Resistance capable of a great match?

That wasn't exactly refered to you. I was just using the 'board mentality' sort of speak. A lot of people on this board have this crazy notion that Angle isn't treated like a main eventer, so they don't want him facing 'mid carders'.

For a 'main event heel' he sure hasn't made too many main events lately. If you complain about Angle not being a consistant main eventer, there is no way you can even consider Show to be a main eventer.

In theory, the US and IC title are on the same level. And if Jericho was traded for Angle, Angle would just take Jericho's place and not, I repeat not, be in the main events constantly. Hell, he would probably a lot worse off.
