I'm not surprised. I think he probably would have been a huge contender this year if he didn't get hurt. THat or he would be feuding with Eddie or Benoit right now. When he comes back, I'm confident a title reign isn't far behind.

So the six man got the highest rating? Good, it actually seems like they are putting effort in building Goldberg/HHH and Micheals/Orton. Oh, and I think we all know why the ratings raised. RVD came back! Duh.

One of the matches I loved that Edge was involved in was that Fatal Four Way match before Armeggeddon. That match seriously does not get enough love.

So you're saying you've never liked an Edge match, ever? I like Edge when he is mindlessly throwing himself through tables off of a ladder. Christian's better at it. Seriously.

Brock was obviously uninformed before he made the comment. He probably thought that Pro Wrestling was really hokey play fighting.

I see what you're saying LOTC, but I don't think WWE would be serious enough about a Benoit push to put him over Brock. In WWE reality, Angle is the best choice.

Yeah, I'd love for more heels to win cleanly. If a match is fantastic, much like the RR03 match was, then it really doesn't matter who wins, looeses, or taps. With the Angle/Brock deal, when Angle had him in the move I was on the edge of my seat just going "tap damnit, tap, tap, tap, taaaaaaaaaaaaaap!!!!!!!!". I was so into that moment, and I miss moments like those. For sure. I know people want to keep their heat or whatever, but if it's a back and forth match, and a great match, does it matter if you lose cleanly? Obviously the crowd at RR 03 didn't care, as they gave Benoit a standing ovation.

Yeah, I liked seeing Brock tap too. But it always seems special when a heel actually wins cleanly without cheating. Faces can win cleanly, but never heels it seems.

Eddie, the topic is all well and good, but you never said WHY RR 03 was better. That is usually what makes a thread enjoyable; the reason why someone has an opinion. I personally thought Royal Rumble was the best match. It was just great back and forth action, wasn't boring at any parts (I was into everything during the match), and an awesome finish where there was no interference or anything...just a clean finish. Sadly, a rarity these days.

I agree that people should lay off Shawn, but where is the double standard? And when has Jericho ever done anything like that? What does he have to do with this?

Jericho should never be part of a group. It's not like his character at all. Did he even really have friends as a face? And even from this past Raw, his character doesn't exactly keep loyal to his friends (because he was cheating in the match).

I doubt it was for real. Why would Tajiri and Rhyno keep on a 5 minute headlock? They are both better than that and I doubt they are that stupid.
