What the heck happened to my post from last night in reply? Oh well.

This isn't the worst day of my life...I've had a lot worse. I don't, for one second, mind admitting I cried though. Call me pathetic, I really don't care. I'm emotionally attached to wrestling, so when something sad happens, I cry. God forbid some emotion is shown.

You didn't explain why Austin was such a success. Or Flair. Neither had bodies that abused steroids. And I'm in the thought that business was down after the steroid trial because of bad publicity, not because there weren't big roided up fellows. You have no proof that fans were turned off my lack of big guys. Stop acting like your opinion is fact. I have no idea why you want to point the finger at anyone in this instance. You forgot the third main cause: the wrestlers themselves. If you are going to blame the fans, there is no fucking way you can exclude it's ultimately the wrestler's choice. It's bullshit for you to claim that the fans should be looking in the mirror and blaming themselves for Eddie's death. The responsibility is on the shoulders of the wrestlers. There are influences, yes, but come on now. Is it baseball fans faults for the steriod use, because they like homeruns? Is it an actress' fans fault if she is anorexic, because they love her?

Uh, all she did was that Tranchula rip off move. The rest of the match, she just got cheapshots in and let Victoria do all the work.

Disagreed about the overrated analysis. The match played up to each guy's strengthes (Shawn being a pinball and Taker beating people up). It was so Shawn couldn't escape from him, which negated Shawn from using DX, which had been his stradegy as a heel up until that point. It totally made sense that the match was one sided. I admittingly haven't seen the ONO match lately, but I don't remember really being blown out of the water by it. Maybe I'll give it a second viewing tonight...I'm positive I have the tape somewhere.

One that I think rivals this one is when RTC were in the ring and Ivory was cutting a promo, maybe explaining why she joined. Anywho, she's discussing how immoral America is to a deathly silent crowd when one loud fans yells out "Take your shirt off!". The silence combined with who was talking was just hilarious.

Spanky and London's run ins made me laugh. Especially London's "Oh shit!" look when Show caught his leg.

Off the top of my head, I'd love to see him come out to something like "Plug In" by Muse. It's about new beginnings, so I think it'd fit. Okay, and I really love the song.

Regardless of anyone's opinion of Shawn, does that seem like his voice, sorta speak? I could imagine Foley reading his to me, as I could with Edge. Rocky, I couldn't. This, I can't see Shawn talking like that in the slightest. CM Funk is right, it's not really quirky enough. Besides, hasn't Vince, Shawn, and even Bret said that Shawn was just a pawn, really?

I doubt highly Edge and Christian would be a tag team.

I say Benoit because he'll give full commitment. Either guy would be an amazing aquisition though because just seeing a guy like Benoit or Jericho in the company makes you think "Wow, this company MUST be something special". Christian coming gives off that effect too, but Jericho coming out of semi-retirement and Benoit coming to seek more competition (which is how they should play it off)? Utterly amazing.

And Steve, The Guerreros were never turned face during that run. They were actually the only heel tag team of the three, as Edge/Rey were always faces, and Angle/Benoit switched depending on which of the tag teams they faced. Guerreros were starting to turn face I'd say starting between Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania in '03 when Angle and Benoit went on to do singles stuff, Edge got injured, and Rey was doing the whole cruiserweight thing.
