Okay, first off, stop being such a brainless romantic. Logically, if someone cheats on you, why the hell should you get back together with them? Once a cheater, always a cheater. If someone is stupid enough to walk back into that, why should they get my pity when they do (and likely they will) get cheated on...again? If someone doesn't learn their lesson, yes, they do deserve to be taught it again. Since you used a cliche, I'll use one too: A tiger can never change it's stripes. If someone is stupid enough to paint over those stripes, yeah, they do deserve to get bitten. The first time, Matt didn't deserve to get cheated, using the information we have. But the second time with the same girl? Good, it's his fault for being stupid enough to get back into the relationship. Oh, and through the grape vine (IE here, I believe), apparently, according to her book, Lita fucked Matt while having a boyfriend and Matt knew about it. Turn about much? Wow, I'm arguing way too much for something that is heresey.

Yeah, that they tell you about.

Chalk filled with STDs... Sorry, sorry.
-
Because he'd be an idiot to get back together with a girl who cheated on him with his best friend. Fool me once, shame on you....
-
Oh man, if Matt does go back to Lita, he deserves to be cheated on. Agreed. I thought that a bit strange when reading the book too, since he was just getting married and all. In retrospect, yeah, it's a bit obvious. At the time though, I just chalked it up as him sucking up to his closest female friend.

Ah, okay. I'm not too sure if this will make a huge dent in WWE's ratings, since alot of WWE fans would simply not enjoy UFC because they enjoy the entertainment rather than sport. However, I think UFC will do quite well with their core audience, lingering Raw viewers, and wrestling fans that want more violence. Raw's ratings will increase simply because they'll be hyping the crap out of this show, but just because one show does good, doesn't mean both won't. I'll be real interested in the ratings, that's for sure.

I admit, I like the shiny wrapping too, but hey, I have a short attention span. I can watch both Michaels and Hart and love the matches. Of course, I was quite young when both were around and in total mark mode, so yeah, I have fond memories of both. I guess it really just depends what mood you're in. If I want to think in a match and look for nice, subtle hints at storytelling, I'll watch a Bret match. If I want to simply be entertained and have the story forced upon me, I'll watch a HBK match.

How are they saying that? I just think they know who their main audience is and that old Raw viewers might still tune in to Raw thinking it's still on Spike and get UFC instead. Since they are likely the demographic that Spike is looking for, they'll stay and watch. It's a great plan actually to take advantage of lingering Raw viewers.

No, no it doesn't. People in general can distinguish popular wrestlers from good wrestlers. I actually can't see why people don't think Bret's a good wrestler. He does the little things so freaking good. His bumping is great. The way he fights with desperation in big match situations are a thing of beauty.

Nothing. I doubt WWE sees UFC as a threat, just as they don't see TNA as a threat. Even if they do, their arrogance won't allow them to do anything different. If they do, it'll be credited for being a USA debut rather than to persue fans to watch their programming over UFC. Oh, and if there is counter-programing, it won't be directly. It won't be an all out slug fest between Cena and Angle with blood or anything. It'll be Triple H returning.

You know, that's sort of like saying the only reason why HBK is overrated are because of those damn Texans.

Honestly, I wouldn't retire the women's division. I'd hire attractive female wrestlers, so the attractiveness is there, but the wrestling is there for wrestling fans, women (who can relate to personalities) and teen (or younger) girls to look up to. They did a good job of this with Lita (well, not the good wrestler part...) and she was making WWE money. Candace Michelle isn't by standing there and looking pretty.

4:20? Yeah right. Try 4.20 seconds.

I'm up for a London/Rey match, because Rey never squashed people, but if Orlando only wrestled Benoit for 23 seconds, how long do you suppose London would last?
-
I guess I'm in the minority, because I loved Spanky/London. Those two don't need flips to have a good match, although both are good in that sort of match too.

What would you NOT change about the WWE?
CanadianChick replied to RavishingRickRudo's topic in The WWE Folder
Right now, I wouldn't change the amount of interview/air time the champions are both getting. They aren't getting overexposed like champions of the recent past have. -
To be honest, I don't think that this is the right time to be creating controversy over this issue when measures are clearly being taken to help. Yes, there are warranted critisisms, but can't we save that for after? Kayne didn't help out anyone by doing this. All he did was create attention for himself.

Neither. It was just funny imagery. I liked the promo fine enough, because I think the Ortons are good together. Bob supplements Randy nicely.
-
During Orton's promo, I was just imagining a 10 year old Randy being told by his father that'd he'd be the greatest at one time and kill legends.
-
I'm pretty sure he does some video production for WWE, and since that is pretty well the best part of the shows, he's not going anywhere.
-
Shyeah, disturbing conversation, I must say.
-
Edge for not being goofy? Maybe Flair?
-
Funny enough, it's not even a Dropkick Murphy song. It's "Mother" by Danzig.
-
He's a good wrestler, actually. The name is gimmicky, but he's not really.

Go Pacific Northwest talent! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Does Adam Firestorm still wrestle? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yeah, but not here. I didn't include Vance Nevada either, since he was wrestling out East all this year. I think Firestorm's in Calgary.
