True, but can it be worse than the Diva Search? I mean, we have around half of them cluttering both shows and it indirectly killed the women's division. Unless this somehow kills the tag division or something, it just can't be as bad.

Ah, let's not get too outta control here. Cena would have the crowd response, honestly. He's the most over face by a long shot right now. Rob wouldn't get booed, but Cena would get the majority of the cheers. If we are talking about now then I could agree with you, but 6 or 8 months down the road when Rob comes back from his injury then I could predict a different crowd response for this match (RVD/Cena). That's a bit unfair, seeing as it'll be a return pop. That's like saying that Rocky wouldn't have the same crowd reaction as Triple H if they faced the night HHH came back.

I don't know, I couldn't really see Jericho being the guy. Granted I don't know him personally or anything, but it's not the vibe I get from him.

It's actually kind of funny, since the reason they are hazing is probably that they feel she hasn't paid her dues or whatnot. It's not like she's putting herself on TV and taking away TV time from wrestlers. She's getting hazed for Vince being an idiot who thinks that faceless big boobed and/or pretty girls are the answer to good ratings. And to think she's the one of the diva contestants that actually has something resembling a character.

Honestly, RVD can be critisized about a ton of things, but being able the connect with the crowd isn't even close. Hell, I'd say he's one of the best in the company at connecting with the crowd alongside Jericho, Cena and others.

I don't remember Rob really having too many matches with Austin, other than that one during the Alliance where Austin said Rob was Kurt Angle for the night. Did RVD ever fight Angle? During the Alliance maybe? Can't really remember. Same with the Rock, to be honest. Judging from their match at Unforgiven '02, I'd agree with the HHH assessment, although I remember them having a fun TV match right after Kane got unmasked. Not nearly as good as their Unforgiven match was bad, but it certainly was an improvement. I have a theory on why RVD has had good matches with Undertaker. It's like why HBK gets enjoyable matches out of him. Rob acts like a pinball, takes all of Taker's good moves and makes his brawling look badass. I remember loving that one hardcore match at Vengence '01 (?). For water and oil, I have a strange one: Brock and Angle. Those two, to tell the truth, bore me when their wrestling. Maybe it's because it was built as this huge match that'll be the best match ever, blah blah blah. I've never wanted to actively look for their matches and watch it for a second viewing.
