I hated how in his hometown, they gave him a IC match instead of a World Title match. My lord, do you know how much heat a World Title match in Winnipeg with Jericho in it would have got? I really believe they dropped the ball with Edge's return and not having him go after his attacker. Not only would have it gave him a reason to be angry, but it would have made the transition from "angry bitter face" to "angry bitter heel" alot faster.

They really shouldn't of made it optional then. If RVD really doesn't feel strongly about supporting the troops, then he shouldn't go. I really don't see the big deal. Though I can see why Luther would go when getting pushed by management: he actually has a chance at a pretty good future in WWE. Rob? Well, not so much.

Big Show/JBL? Bleh. There's no feud on SD right now that warrants such a match.

Nothing compares to Edge's HUGE role in Highlander: Endgame. I really have this morbid curiousity to rent the movies RVD has been in. Are they really bad?

I disagree that he was the worst of the 6. Even putting my favoritism aside, Chavo was never given the oppertunity to be better than number six, since all he pretty much was was a afterthough in tag matches. Had he been in any good singles matches, than maybe he could be considered better than 6th. But he hadn't, so he isn't. Personally, with all bias intact, I still don't think he'd be better than sixth with the oppertunity, but hey, that's just my opinion. In some cases, the internet is just being cool and turning on him (which I think is slowly happening to Angle too). But to be fair, his run from coming back from neck surgery and turning tweener/heel was not good. He came back from neck surgery as a angry face who was never really given a reason to be angry (he never even went after the mystery person who attacked him!). And he is just awful as a angry face. Maybe it was because he had no motivation, but it just wasn't good. He then had a pointless feud with Kane, and then a tag run (which he was a afterthought to, since he was tagging with the World champ). Then he got into an interesting feud with Jericho, which would have been good, but he got injured. Speaking of injuries, he got a hell of a lot. Now, he's doing fine as a the most interesting (of course, my opinion) heel on Raw. He's got motivation, and he can sure piss the hell out of fans. I think his ringwork is good, but other's disagree, and I'm not going to get in *that* arguement again.

I have a feeling that the programs for WM will be Edge/HBK, Orton/??? (for title), and HHH/Batista. They are going to hype the crap out of HBK getting revenge on Edge. What then? Will Edge have to get a quickie title reign?

TSBY, I agree that might happen if they wait too long, and yes, it would be best for Edge to win at NYR. But it's not completely necessary. Yes, he'll have to win soon, but not in the EC necessarly. If they are THAT hesitant (which they shouldn't be if they had the balls to put a former mid card tag team wrestler as champion a month or two after changing gimmicks), they can always hold off until his first one-on-one match for the title, since he hasn't had that yet. But if they don't pull the trigger then, Edge's gimmick is as good as dead.
