I'd love to see him with the World Title (shocking, isn't it?), but I think they're going to hold off. Why? Because it seems when someone gets over like that, WWE seems to think that the person doesn't 'need' the Title. Of course, they'll probably hold off too long and he lose some heat and then they'll feel he'll need the title at that point. When he does win the title, I really want it to be on his first shot (one on one at least) so he can brag that he told everyone all he needed was a fair shot and he'd win it. Of course, he'll win it cheaply, but you catch my drift...

Just to clarify, I wasn't talking about overness or guys drawing. I was just commenting on the likability of wrestlers. Jericho's over, for example, but I wouldn't consider his character a likable one.

Prefer to be given only finish and call everything else in the ring ? Lay the entire match out beforehand ? I think I'd like to discuss the finish obviously, and big spots. Everything else though, in the ring. Like to have your promo's scripted ? Or just be given a couple of bullet points, and wing the rest ? For sure bullet points. It sounds a lot more genuine that way. And I'd be so focused on remembering my lines that my emotion might not be all there. Blade often ? Only on occasion ? Would you rather never blade at all ? On occasion. Sometimes, a good blade job adds so much to a match. And it'd be so dramatic, especially in the women's division where blood is the rarest thing ever. What style would you like to wrestle ? Why would you prefer to employ that particular style over others ? I'd love to have the ability to emulate someone like Benoit. Just to bring crispness with intensity would be my goal. Although I doubt I'd be against doing a spot fest once in a while, especially if I'm a face. Refuse to take certain moves ? Only take them when working with certain wrestlers ? I'd be very iffy on taking piledrivers, especially with someone who's sloppy. If I trusted someone completely, I'd trust them enough to take it, I think. Are there any match types you'd like to wrestle in a lot ? Some match types you'd rather never have to work in ? I think I'd just stick to a one-on-one match most of the time. But I do love tag matches. I'm actually a big fan of intergender tag matches, assuming the face in peril is the female. I'd love to make a big bad ass heel look like a million bucks. I'd love to try a cage match, or a ladder match, but not too often. Those are just for special occasions. What style of normal match would you like to do the most ? Would you prefer to sell or to dominate ? Would you like to do long matches ? Totally depends on who I'm facing. I could see advantages on both selling and dominating. In general though, I think I'd be a better seller. Again though, since I'm so used to watching male wrestling, it's easier for me to say that since I'm small compared to most guys. Female wrestling is different because it's rare to see someone dominate someone else on pure strength or size advantage. I'll compromise: I think I'd rather dominate in single's matches, but I'd way rather sell in tag matches. I'd love to do longer matches, but I wouldn't want to do them for the sake of having a long match. Would you like to have a manager or valet to work spots with, or would you rather just do it all yourself ? Oh, if I'm a heel, for sure! There aren't enough effective managers out there. Are there some types of angles that you would refuse to do ? Some types of angles that you'd love to do ? I'd hate to do T&A angles. I feel that if I ever did wrestle, I wouldn't want to be reconized because of that. I'd love to do just a betrayal or raw hate feud. Those are just the best if done properly. What promotion would you like to work for the most ? What promotion would you hate to work for ? Somewhere that I could find the happy medium between living a good lifestyle (decent pay) and loving what I do. I'd hate to work for a promotion that only has T&A women's division. Any wrestlers today that you'd like to work against ? Any you would avoid working against at all costs ? I wouldn't avoid her per se, but I wouldn't be too keen on working with Lita. I'd love to work with Molly, Trish, Victoria, Madison (local wrestler), Mischif, Mickie Knuckles, and pretty much the whole IWA-MS women's division. I'd love the oppertunity to work with male wrestlers too.

Agreed. Seriously, look at the top faces. Jericho's a smart ass. Benoit's a scary guy. Orton's smarmy. Eddie can be scary. Cena's smarmy too... Man, who can you like nowadays? Rey? RVD, minus the constant pot references?
-
You have a point there Rudo. How many genuine likeable guys are left on the roster? People who in you met someone with similar character in real life, you'd actually be able to stand after an hour? Because most the faces now are sarastic smart asses, or huge bad asses.

Yeah, what's with no Funaki and Haas on Smackdown? I can see why someone like London isn't on Smackdown since he has no angle to follow up on, but both Haas and Funaki do.
-
You know, I'm actually having a tough time on predicting the order of elimination. I'm pretty sure Jericho's first to go, but other than that....
-
That is just awful. Quck Fuality.
-
Nah, not at the Rumble. They'll slow-burn it to happen at WrestleMania 21. Of course! What was I thinking? Haas could face two diva seach rejects at Royal Rumble for practice.
-
Hopefully Haas just goes on and we all pretend this angle never happened... Or Haas at Royal Rumble loses to them in a handicap match. Yeah, that's probably more likely.
-
Can someone give me a quick review and how the matches have been?
-
-JBL retains. -Cena retains -Kenzo & Dupree win -Funaki wins -Show -Puder beats up Miz
-
I think it's Jericho too. How was the house show? Any good?

What percentage of the WWE roster do you enjoy..
CanadianChick replied to The Mandarin's topic in General Wrestling
This is as of right now, right? Raw Chris Benoit Chris Jericho Edge Matt Hardy Molly Randy Orton Rhyno Ric Flair (purely out of the ring, though) Shawn Michaels Shelton Benjamin Steven Richards Tajiri The Rock Trish Stratus Smackdown Akio Carlito Carribean Cool Charlie Haas Eddie Guerrero John Cena Josh Matthews Nunzio Paul Heyman Paul London Rey Mysterio Rob Van Dam Shannon Moore Tazz 30.33% -
Couldn't you also partly credit that to Rock though? He was constantly in the main events too, right? When the "hot" period for wrestling went down, and Triple H was still on top, it wasn't impressive to say the least. And his 'drawing' for his big return was just as underwhelming. As for Micheals, I consider him one of the best at making the most out of the WWF style.

So.... Who gets the famed Rock program at WM?
CanadianChick replied to Just call me Dan's topic in The WWE Folder
I'd love to see a Jericho/Rock feud. With the way things are looking, I don't think Jericho really has any angles coming up. -
Ditto. When my English teacher was giving as example of what irony wan, he said it was like if a swimmer drowned in an inch of water in a bathtub. Guess I was the only one who found that funny.

Oh, I can hardly watch Heat because of those two. A lot of the commentators suck. Really, the only two I can stand and like are Matthews and Tazz. Everyone else sucks, is old and senile, or annoying. -

You now, I could actually stand listening to Demott tonight. I usually find him irratating as hell. -

That was a fun match. But please, let's avoid the Sabu-ish head bumps. Especially with someone as talented as London. And I did love that finish. -
WWE Raw TV Main Events in 2004
CanadianChick replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in The WWE Folder
I'm not sure I'd call it a main event match. Sure, it was the last match of the night, but there was a main event interview if I'm not mistaken. But yeah, Richards winning, never mind winning on Raw, is always a shock. -
Who would buy panties from an online wrestling store? That's just....strange.
-
Oh yeah, another one was in the Wrestlemania 19 women's 3-way dance between Jazz/Trish/Vicky, you can hear Trish, while in Jazz's STF, yell "Stevie!" Next thing you know, he interferes.
-
But Lita is admittingly the most over. And what other faces could Trish work with? Vanilla Victoria? Unless they pull someone from OVW up. Is Jillian Hall any good?
-
That does bug me a bit when wrestlers don't mention the past. ESPECIALLY if they feuded extensively before. This is a small example, but how about Molly and Trish? They feuded for what, a year? And now they're buddy-buddy? Huh?
